A funny thing about both the GR.1 and GR.1A, the combat flaps in my experience do not rip ever and they do still provide lift. So if you need it, don't be afraid to use it.
Yea, I wanted to say do to the F-5C swarm u gonna end up on 10.3 anyway, so if u have it just play the GR.1A, + it can fly with maximum bomb load while still having the AAMs. Also I'm gonna keep fighting with YT and using adblockers as long as i can, so...
I find the GR.1A a better choice, yes its higher BR but you can carry more bombs to take out an entire base and still have 2 Aim-9Gs + flares to hold your own.
I recently got some GE and am considering getting a low tier jet or a higher tier tank. I've flown the jets available in AB many times and have a pretty good feel for how they fly compared to prop aircraft. Torn between the Me for germany and similar configuration USSR one. Or I might just buy the SU-100Y again (had on ps4 account before it died) along with a mid tier plane

I already won't play 9.0/9.3 America because of the, no flares/9B/Uptier to fight against 30g all aspect missiles, problem. No way am I playing 9.7 with no countermeasures just to get uptiered every match to fight even worse missiles including radar variants.

iirc it's designed to help you pull up after a dive so it really helps when you're doing CAS runs
