Nice video, I have a X-730 with a 54 inch deck. Mine came without the deck scalp roller, got one from John Deere and installed it - not too hard and worth it. Looks good too.

Josh - good video, as usual, I have the 60" to go with my X-730 and was wondering if you ever heard of the Deck Dolly? Changed my life when dealing with my deck. Look them up and I am sure they would appreciate a video review. I first saw it a Tractor Time with Tim (discount code TTWT) and ordered mine right away. I am looking to put a three-point hitch on mine as well so I have been studying your videos on that. Keep up the good work. Were you USAF at Elmendorf, AFB by any chance?

Hi.. Thanks for the video. Two questions. Have you found the gage wheels dig into the lawn while turning? I see in the video you have them going in different directions and I'm guessing that's just so you can position under the tractor but with solid shafts when they contact the ground during a turn they scrape and gauge the lawn. Have you experienced that? Also, did you install the 3 point hitch? I have an X738 and thinking about adding. Thanks!

I have them turned so it doesn’t roll around on me. No need to slide it under the tractor since it is drive over. No, I don’t have an issue with them digging in, I have them set just slightly above the ground with the deck where I want it. If they are set to where they are supporting the deck then yes, I could see them digging in. Yes I installed the 3 point, I have a video on the install as well.

I was taking about the difference between the 54 Accel Deep and the 54 HC… I think I put the actual numbers in the video… regardless it is damn heavy!!! Lol
