I wanted to let you know about a new product out called Acid Magic, to remove the calcium. It works much like Muriatic Acid, but much safer. SWF Beach Life just did a video on it. Grab yourself some dental picks and after bleaching, you should be able to pick off the little shells attached to your big shells pretty easily.

I really liked how the big and little bailer shells turned out. Love the merax, sea urchin, along with the sand dollars. They turned out beautiful. I have never seen bailer shells that large before or with points on the top. It's just amazing. I am from Indiana USA. I just love the shells. I am home all the time due to taking care of my mom. She is on hospice but in my home. So watching the few shelling videos I do helps me a lot to relax and let the stress go for a short time. Thank you for sharing another great shelling video. 😊

What a GREAT video! The Murex cleaned up really great! The smaller Bailors are so beautiful and colorful, just amazing, love those! What happened to the Spondylus? I had high hopes for that one, they are just so cool. I do hope you kept the Bailors that had the shell on it and the very thick shelled one, they are so dang amazing in their own way. So unique! Great video! What a huge difference. Do you trash those tiny urchin spines? I would be glad to pay postage to get you to ship them to me, I once made a miniature sailor's valentine for a friend. I am into 12th scale dollhouses and have a large shell collection in one of my houses (in miniature, of course). Also have a modest collection in life size. Thank you for your nice videos of your shelling trips. I really enjoy them as we can no longer go. My hubby has Multiple Sclerosis and my arthritis is too bad to walk very far so this is the only way we go to the beach now🙂

I’d love to get your help and advice, but I can’t show you pictures of my large Bailer shell. It’s either the same size as your largest bailer or even slightly bigger, I purchased from a second hand trader. Mine is looking quite funny on the outside and I’m worried as the edges are jagged, wanting some advice from you on the best way to clean my shell please!! :)
