Very nice boat! It was only missing to see the engine room and crew accommodations. Keep up the good job. :)

Thank you very much for the kind comment, it is highly appreciated.
The engine room is beautifully laid out with all ancillaries on forward bulkhead, all very clean loads of working room. The crew accommodation is adequate for a boat this size, twin single beds and a head with a small shower and forward access through to the Engine room and engineering space. Door entry through the stern. Unfortunately the crew cabin is small and not great to video. One excellent feature of the yacht is a space on the lower deck that is big enough for a small workshop or dedicated laundry space. The master cabin on the main deck is superb. My only gripe is IPS only - no shaft option so its a lift out rather than diver job if there are any pod issues.

My favorite of the show. I think the Navetta range has a truly unique appeal.

Does this particular boat have bathroom fan while you are taking a shower?

Thanks that was a great tour and it’s my dream Med boat to cruise slowly exploring all the islands. It would be really handy if you provided some specs too in your videos, such as price, fuel capacity, range at cruising speeds etc. Thanks and keep up the good work

Adam Cotterill Thank you for the kind words . Specs are usually provided at the end the video. I do normally discuss fuel burn with the boats representative, however not all have that information. I will be doing a few reviews on the water, rather than walkthroughs boat show style once things get back to normal. This boat has a fuel capacity of just under 930 gallons and depending on which size engines cruising speed is 17 to 18 knots, top speed 22 - 24 knots. Pricing varies dramatically depending on spec. That helm can be specced with 2 screens as an example instead 3 or even 4 saving over 20K. So pricing on a big yacht can be highly subjective this one has over 500K in extras and changes with exchange rates also.

I have seen a lot of yachts and super yachts and everything in between. And this Absolute Navetta with its thoughtful features and attention to detail is astonishing. Now they do know how to charge for it but the fact is there is a lot of love and passion put into this dreamboat. One major yacht reviewer stated how this was a yacht for mature people. Not meaning elderly but people who are experienced and know what matters and I would have to agree.
Even something like the retractable sunscreen which gives you privacy and protection yet you can still see through it and not miss whats going on. I would make at least one alteration to suit me. I don't like sitting down on super low couches. It is like sitting in a sports car. I know the windows are low but it is style over function to have furniture so low to the floor.

Is there an option for a beach club like the one offered on the 2021 Navetta 64?

The Navetta’s are a different pace, both ranges are excellent. The new Navetta’s since the interior update have a far more Superyacht feel than the early versions.

It's amazing that this is almost 4 times more expensive than the 52' model.

Sloth to be fair it’s twice the size and fully loaded. A fully loaded 52 is well over a million, nearer 1.7

If you take the time to see the detailed reviews from like boattest.c0m. The features and details are mesmerizing and ingenious. And so the cost reflects that. Wow 4 times more expensive. I didn't know it was that much more. But I can see the money went to good use. Charging a million more just because of a few strokes of the designer's pen that doesn't cost a penny is like empty carbs. This boat is loaded with features.

I believe this is a category B hull not A so it's sea keeping capabilities are not worth 4 million u.s
If I'm wrong please correct me! And azimut 72fly is category A and is around same price! This boat is overpriced for it's bling but not for it's safety and hull strength! Be careful people of this important factor ! First question you ask is hull catagory!! The Mediterranean is ok but if you want to go offshore that question is imperative! Happy safe sailing all 🛥⚓

Maree Walker I cant argue with your logic. I am not educated enough on the subject to conclude weather or not it is to do with the propulsion being IPS vs shafts where a pod will literally sheer off on a bad enough impact. I would personally personally prefer to see this boat in shafts which would certainly bring the cost down somewhat. I also agree the Magellano 66 is the perfect rival. I have only been on the 53 which is an epic boat so I cannot comment on that boat. But seeing as neither boat has a range of over 500 miles so blue water cruising I don’t think is an issue. Thank you however for taking the time to write a highly valued comment instead of criticising an excellent product.

Do you think this size is possible for an owner-operator? (In terms of docking really - I’d always engage the local dealer to provide a comprehensive and regular service and maintenance program etc). Would the answer be different if a Raymarine auto-docking system (or similar) was to be fitted? I’m interested because my previous boat was only 45ft (Princess) but it was too small to live on really. So I want something with the size and luxury to live onboard for several months of the year, but I want the privacy and simplicity of operating it myself. Thoughts welcome!

T U . Hi TU. I am not a dealer or a broker and I do not sell boats so this is a question best directed at either or. The 68 is more than twice the size as of a Princess 45 so the logistics of handling a boat that size single handed even with a the hold function on the thrusters and or Raymarine’s auto dock which I have not had any experience of. Honestly I would answer no, she is far too big to manage single handed in my opinion, I personally never rely on tech to make a decision, more the practicalities and worst case scenarios. Best thing is go take a look see what you think. With regards to live aboard. Yes if you can afford this boat it’s definitely a very comfortable place live aboard. There are plenty of mid 50 footers that are more than adequate also.

Unfortunately it was taken at the Miami show and already held up the boat. Crew cabin is small but adequate and self contained with direct access to the engine room. The engine room is excellent, The IPS system - no prop shafts allows for clean complete fore and aft walk around space for the engines and very well laid out. There is a full fuel polishing set up on the front bulkhead and all the sea cocks are forward of the engines.. There is likely a virtual walk around on Absolutes website.

    Stunning boat.
Ps they are called rainfall showers not rainwater showers as I'm positive they are fed by freshwater from a tank and not from the sky. 😉

Too many extras that can break , too many windows . Starting to think if you have 4 million to spend. Start from bottom yo with owners in put design space for simple live in all weather ,

    • @thebritishboatguy3130

Indeed, the complexity doesn’t work as a serous live aboard cruiser compared to say a Nordharvn or Krogen. But it’s aimed at a totally different buyer to hardcore cruisers
