Your favorite cameo near the end with the grapes on the head is Victorian. The grapes tie it to Bacchus, the Roman God of wine and theater. It’s very beautiful!

The cameo at 22:52 was assayed in Italy - that is what the marks mean. I think the 750 gold cameo has had the clasp replaced. The hinge is Victorian. You have some really lovely cameos!

I love cameos too. I have my grandmother's and I wear it all the time as a pendant. I don't want to collect them because none will mean more to me than hers. But, I do adore them.

Love your collection. I learned some new info to help identify resin from shell. I have a cameo from my grandmother. I really know it’s from around 1870 to 1910. But it is in poor condition. The way you presented your knowledge was very helpful. I enjoyed your video.

Some of the glass intaglio are old Czechoslavakian, you can tell the age from the type of setting. The intaglios from the nineteen sixties are a type of plastic, but still pretty. Your goddess Flora, or some other goddess is my favorite also, thank you, very nice presentation.
Enjoyed so much watching your vid I have been collecting them for a number of years but only picking them up at jumble sales and Car boot sales I agree about all you say on the ways to tell if they are plastic or real I have a Cameo in silver that shows a scene with sea and a volcano erupting it is very white on the back like your one with the scenic view. It is lovely shades of blue where yours has shades of brown I was told it was carved in a shell that as that natural colouring and I have seen one’s of that colouring in jewellers I got it at a jumble Sale when I was only 14 😘
" * 123 n a " means its an Italian Designer Makers Mark in Italy . Thats how that Country has its Designers Register so they can hold them accountable for any kind of fraud

What about a Vintage cameo set of earrings that are facing both right and left? I have a vintage set that I believe a shell, cold to the face touch, end it has some gyms around it but they’re two different cameo styles but you can tell it was a set.

I also found a cameo in one of my jewerly jars with a women that looked like the lady in the bar from the movie titanic, I also gave away a cameo that was sign trafari, cameos have never been my thing.
It would be cool to have a cameo of yourself.
I have a cameo with a male on it, facing right with a head wrapped but I can't find anything on it. The back is opened I can see through it. It was a birthday gift but I'm interested in the history

I do my own nails as well, it's the wise thing to do. I love yard sales, and cameos. One of mine is about 2 1/2 inches, 14k, and she's wearing a diamond necklace. I paid 50¢ ♥
I also collect cameos. Have for 30 years. I have always thought left facing carvings are the rarest. The carver is left handed. ??

I have a cameo pin. I believe its real. It sits in the center of a sterling silver pin. Made by Theda. I cannot find it unline. If anyone would know anything about it, please let me know. It was my mothers, do not know where she got it. I believe its vintage. Maybe 70s.

Also can you tell us how to care for them.
Those gold earring (the expensive ones) how do you wear them? If you slide your earlobe in them the cameo will be upside down.

I have recently been passed down a cameo which was originally my great, great, great, great grandma's from the early 1800's but it is of a man on a black backing and I've never seen another one like it. Unfortunately my great grandma reset it in the 30's but it is still in it's original band but the markings are so faint cause they look like they have been scratched in instead of stamped. I'm trying to find one similar so I can find out more about it's origin.
jp 94 it could be onyx in the back. I usually just try to google as many different ways as I can think of to find similars.
