    Had a lot of calls lately for loss of airflow. It’s mainly been super dirty filters and a lot of dirty coils. Great tips though. I’ll have to keep my eye out for this too!

    HAhaha i paused right after you cleaned the fan and thought you were going to put it back together so i wrote a comment about techs never cleaning the motor or oiling it if possible. Came back and there you were cleaning the motor out. Great job if you were in my area i would recommend you i wouldn't use you because i watch your video's lol but i would surely recommend you.

    Any ideas or vids on DIY mobile home duct cleaning? Just discovered you. I appreciate your videos and channel. Ive learned a great deal from various yt vids n channels. This is something I may tackle soon or at least in spring. Id prefer to blow clean w compressed air as opposed to water especially here in NV. This states rated in top of hardest worst water in U.S. Very dry so rust is generally not huge problem so that water and a microfiber towel would do trick.

    So the customer didn't use good filters or change them often enough?

    • @diyhvacguy
      @diyhvacguy  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s right. It’s a cheaply built mobile home and the filters don’t have complete filtration so that just means this needs to be done more often 👍🏽

      These trailers have super poor ductwork. Almost as bad as RV’s. That results in poor airflow from the very beginning.

    I just subscribed today and really am enjoying your videos! I do most of my home maintenance, but never considered HVAC stuff. This has peaked my interest as it seems there are lots of things I can do! Question, are you filming with a Gopro on your head? What do you say to customers about the camera? Thank you!

      Hey! That’s my goal is to empower DIYers who can totally maintain and repair hvac items themselves. This one I did have a hat cam but anymore I use a chest Mount and it gets better footage. I ask all my customers beforehand if they are ok with me filming and so far I haven’t had a customer say no haha thanks for watching! If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask! Cheers

    Hi I have a brand new double wide where one side blows super heavy and the other barely at all; any recommendations?

    • @everythingends0
      @everythingends0 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m guessing you have already solved this but in case anyone else is having the same issue… there is a crossover duct that runs from one side of the double wide to the other in the middle. Basically connecting the 2 separate trunk lines. It sounds to me like it is disconnected on one side. Or perhaps it has a considerable hole/holes in it. The crossover duct is beneath the underbelly so you should be able to tell pretty quickly without tearing into anything
