      Thanks! I have a pair of ProFlex in the mail. 5.11 doesn't love me enough to send me stuff to review. I've tried MANY times.

    Maybe black was the only color you have in these pants, but very hard to much detail with the dark color.

      I know it can't be challenging sometimes depending on monitor

    I also don't like the second button on the 5.11 because it is useless.

      Apparently from what I've been told, some active types feel it gives them more security from their pants coming open. I can't say I've ever had that fear.

    I know this isn’t one of your drumming videos but it’s your most recent so I had to ask. Are interested in selling your old school real feel? I’ve been looking for one all over and you seem to have one that’s in good condition.

      I think it's actually in really bad shape. Every time I hit the light color side a piece of the now hardened rubber chunks off. The black side is fine. I'd consider it though if you are interested

      SnareMan Funny this was brought up, I was going to bring up your drumming history as well. During your time in the Bluecoats, the line played on both the mylar Marathon head and (I’m assuming) the Tendura. Did you have a favorite? I really dig the sound of mylar heads, but I’ve never liked the feel.
      I’ve heard Marathons were a lot better feeling the closest modern equivalent, the Remo P77.

      @@domokornmusic also used Falams if I remember correctly when I did Brass Theater with star in 95. Tenduras were my favorite. The marathons were hideously inconsistentwith quality. Some of them, what we would call pillow heads, would have air between the two plies giving them a very muffled sound and we used to take pins and poke holes in the top head to get the air out. Some also seemed to have extra oil between the heads which caused a different bad sound. A good head times well was great though, but I much prefer the easier maintenance and consistency of the Tendura. I haven't played in any of the modern heads though.

    I may have missed it, but how's the fit on length?

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The length seems pretty normal. Not short or long.

    Mine also fit too baggy. Unwearable....

      Sounds like you have the opposite problem of mine. Although I think it's because I had to get them an inch smaller in the waist than normal because they stopped making 33's in most of their pants.
