Thank you Clay. You did a mini interview video with a friend of mine that said one of your biggest fans couldn't make it out there because of health issues. I got to see the video on Saturday the Oct 12th. Thank you so much and I will be rooting for you and your team on Sunday the 13th at my home track the famous Texas Motorplex, STOMP ON THAT LOUD PEDAL!!
I am with you.Ely in Cambridgeshire, I have been following Clay for about 2 years,Clay is just a gentleman he is just a good man and he has a great team around him. And he has made many people’s days with photos and signing autographs.
Congratulations clay on that 069 reaction time congratulations team way to go now finish out the rest of the night with some more of this same good stuff!!!
Hey Clay. It was great meeting you and Leigh on Friday. Really appreciate your time and autograph. It would not have mattered what you could run last night when Track Records were set by Brittany at 338mph. I was in the grandstand to see that run. Amazing! Have a great weekend. Take home a Wally from Texas. That would be pretty cool 😎!!
I'm out there from Seattle. It's HOT!!!! Fantastic facility. Little too shy to say hello. But, I appreciate your channel and the interaction with the fans. Looking forward to LOUD PEDAL SUNDAY.
Thanks man! I have been waving as you pass by the motorhomes from the right side of the track, would venture over to the pits but new hip says nope not walking that far yet! lol Good luck buddy! I'll be watching Sunday!
I remember back in the early 80s yellow belly had so much gunfire in fact my dad knew quite a few guys he worked with that got shot fortunately they weren't fatal... Clay I hope you get a Wally at the Motorplex unfortunately I won't be there this year 😢
Love your video's Clay. I admit that I am a Brittany Force fan but you are right up there with her. I will though that you put out better video's than anyone. wish I could have come down to Ennis this weekend but could not squeeze it in to my schedule. I love the Texas Motorplex. Good luck this weekend and hope you or Brittany brings home the Wally
I remember in the 70’s yellow belly drag strip was nearly a gangster strip , there was a owner of a motor home and there was about 15- 20 cars that would come to Tyler Texas , they were only allowed to race each other . They were fast and loved to rub fenders, loved it when they came to I20 drag strip Owentown , they were crazy ! L.o.l. Should have been around Clay Mulligan ?
My brother used to drag race at yellow belly and then he built the dirt track car and ran at the dirt track that used to be next door I was born and raised in Irving Texas I now live right outside of Detroit Michigan
Another bit of trivia for you that I think I have my facts correct about concerning Texas Motorplex. Texas Motorplex is the site of the 2nd ever in NHRA history of a 300mph pass by Kenny Bernstein in a Top Fuel car. My Dad and I were in the grandstand that day and witnessed his run. The announcers went crazy, the people in the stands were excited. It was a crazy scene. If my facts are correct from memory, he had previously run 300 in Gainesville? It was a long time ago, so I may not be completely accurate, but I know my Dad and I witnessed history at The Texas Motorplex. Good luck this weekend. Make some history for you and your Team and Stomp on That Loud Pedal!
It was great seeing you at the Texas Motorplex and I'll definitely check out Yellowbelly drag strip in G.P. and I was standing by your pit when you were talking to the man from the UK. Very cool, bright yellow hat.
And so amazing that you made that happen and get to see and hear from his own mouth how amazing the experience was truly topped off the weekend!!! And so great to see you make it to the final round too!!!!
Hi Clay. Back in the day, burnouts use to be huge ... long and loud. It looks like everyone has shortened them by a bunch. Yours are probably the shortest. What happened to make this the norm? Don't want to waste all the rubber? Keep tires cooler? Clutch considerations?
When you are getting ready to make your run. Do you have a specific amount of time that you have to be staged by or can ou take as many ch ime as needed?
Clay, love this channel - learning so much about the sport from you and JimO and the kids. Super curious what the race trailer weighs with the car and all those spares y'all bring to the track? Looking forward to 2025! Stomp on that loud pedal brother!!
Clay, if you do any more Q&A’s . How many passes do y’all get on a set of rear tires? And the mirror you use on the pro jack test what are you exactly doing with that and or what are you looking for? Thanks from East TN here
So if more nitro is more power, is running 88% instead of 90% nitro just a preference for your tune up or is it a cost factor of being harder on parts if you run 90%?
Clay I want to Thank You again for signing my stuff and the picture Friday afternoon ... You're the Best Good luck in Vegas 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Was riping letsgo🎉

The British guy. should come along to Santa Pod here in the UK , plenty of good racing - and less expensive!
Yeah but the UK Top fuelers run 1% Nitro and 99% lager, nothing beats the USA style shanenigans XD

Hey Clay, back in the day when they used to do the long, long burnouts I know a lot of that was for spectators, but did it do more damage than good?

Come on brother I hope you're doing well today stomp on that loud pedal 😊 I wanna see some w's
I think Texas Motorplex was also the first 300MPH quarter, also Eddie Hill.
That was Kenny Bernstein he went the first 300 in 1992 in Gainesville at the Gator Nationals.
Hello, Welcome back
Turn on the win lights next 3 races
Clay god run lets go
👍👍
I’d like to see the expression on the guy from the UK while you guys are making a pass and his insides are shaking inside of him!!
And so amazing that you made that happen and get to see and hear from his own mouth how amazing the experience was truly topped off the weekend!!! And so great to see you make it to the final round too!!!!
On the entro, who does the music?
UK Pete should come and see the fantastic drag racing we have in the UK at Santa Pod!
Clay I'm amazed your car only revs to 7800!
It doesn’t get a chance to go higher because it’s over and done with in 3 seconds.
Man went to yella belly n didnt even meet the man Murda
To bad you didn't bring Dentley to yellow belly
1. The transition @3:22 is great. More please.
2. Do you know of other teams running only 88% CH3NO2? Take Care :)
Hi Clay. Back in the day, burnouts use to be huge ... long and loud. It looks like everyone has shortened them by a bunch. Yours are probably the shortest. What happened to make this the norm? Don't want to waste all the rubber? Keep tires cooler? Clutch considerations?

SHORT BURNOUT, CLAY!!!????

Hi Clay what is Jimo looking at when you test start and run the engine ?
Why during the warm up when they disconnect the fuel lines and the fuel drips out near the headers does it not ignite ?
Here ya go this will explain:

@@claymillican25 Thank you sir. Good Luck Today !!
Where was Millie? Asleep in the back on the bed or a couch?
I am wondering, what happens if a team is over 90 % ?
You mentioned they have to dilute, but is there a penalty?
Do they lose points or get warning?
how long has the ford been on the valve cover?
Clay, if you do any more Q&A’s . How many passes do y’all get on a set of rear tires? And the mirror you use on the pro jack test what are you exactly doing with that and or what are you looking for? Thanks from East TN here
What motorhome do you have? I’m looking at getting a diesel pusher to pull my race trailer.
Now im wishing i didnt go to the fair😢
So Clay are you running less Nitro ie less then 90% to save parts and avoid blow ups?
It is not to save parts our tune up is just based around less than 90.0 percentage of nitro.
Lol, if you ain't cheating, you ain't winning. Respect earn it legitimate way. Go clay.
So if more nitro is more power, is running 88% instead of 90% nitro just a preference for your tune up or is it a cost factor of being harder on parts if you run 90%?
Our tune up is based on less than 90.0. Nothing to do with parts savings. Nitro hurts parts regardless 😁
No place like the gut
