Epic Estate Shop Camera Find! Voigtländer Bessamatic with Color Skopar-x 50mm 2.8 for only $15!

What's up everybody! Today we're looking at another epic vintage camera bargain! I was traveling out of town and decided to stop in at an estate sale shop, to see if I could spy deal on photography gear. I wasn't in the shop long when I spotted a leather camera case with Viogtländer printed across the front. When I saw a $15 price tag I quickly grabbed the case and opened it up. Inside was a tank of a camera, it was the Voigtländer Bessamatic with a color skopar-x 50mm f2.8 lens. I purchased the camera not knowing which adapter I would need to get this lens on my Sony A6000. After a little Internet research I found out that the lens uses the DKL mount, so I need a DKL to NEX adapter. Both Amazon and eBay sell the adapter for around $30. I'm looking forward to picking up an adapter soon to give everyone a closer look at this cool little lens:)

AdaptedAlpha I have just came across the online auction recently, I got a Minolta xd11 camera along with the minolta Rokkor-X 50mm 1.4 (what I bid on the listing for) and a minolta MD 135mm 3.5 for around $72, the bid was only $54, the shipping and handling was a bit expensive. The lens are in decent condition, some minor dust on the 1.4, other than that everything is good, even the xd11 camera looks scratch free, but the foam and plastic parts are deformed due to age, so it needs some work. I'm ordering the md to e mount adaptor now so I will test it and see by then. Overall, in reference to ebay prices, i think the online auction is worth it, but that is if you received decent cameras, I still think your way of getting lenses is much more exciting and fun, I wish theres a decent goodwill near me, but oh well :) I'm quite satisfied for now.

I love your videos and i have an a6000 myself so its nice to see how cerain lenses would look and preform on the camera but just curious what state do you live in and what thrift stores do you go to because iv'e been to local thrift stores and high name thrift stores and i just cant find any lens iv'e only found lenses one time but that was about it

Hi! I have a couple of lenses that belonged to my grandfather. The camera he had was a Kodak Retina IIIc (aka Kodak Retina Rangefinder).
I have a wide angle (Retina-Longar-Xenon, Schneider-Kreuznach 4714039) and a 35 mm (Retina-Curtar-Xenon 4574263). I want to adapt them to my Sony a6000, do you know any adapter for these lenses?
