For Kizaru I've said this before in other places. Due to Kizaru's speed he doesn't get hlt often or have to endure heavy hits. So it's a trade off. His high evasion resulted in low defense.
I'm sticking by my prediction that brooks is gonna give Saturn the same kind of treatment that he gave Big Mom during wholecake. Brooks and the sniper king are both due for their shining moments after they were sidelined throughout Wano. Usopp will have his in elbaf so it's the perfect time for the bloodless/eyeless soul king to step up against a big baddie that normal mortals have a weakness to.

The way the scans set up the Bonney remembering the Kuma flashbacks of him telling her about nika and how he liberates people brings joy to people and all that’s as Saturn is lifting her up to have her killed by a firing squad it feels like such a set up for a big moment like Luffy waking up or the Iron Giant finally making its appearance but something’s gonna happen id be pretty shocked if Bonney just got shot down there

I still think that everyone's overlooking a parallel Oda has put in our faces. We got Vegapunk after so long, but the twist was it's multiple characters; one main body and several "satellites". Most of those satellites have already served their purpose, and the idea as a whole makes little sense when he has punk records and robot minions. BUT if Imu also has satellites... now Vegapunk makes more sense as a tricky little clue left by Oda. I think Imu has a Devil-Devil power or hito-hito model Devil of some name like Nika, but it's abilities include summoning demons with those pentagram circles. I think the Gorosei are devil satellites to Imu, they don't die because they aren't humans who ate fruit, they're just devils summoned by a fruit power. Imu says so little and does so little, leaving everything to the gorosei, with complete trust, as if she knows they will do exactly as she wants. Because they will, they are bound to her, they are her minions. What do you think?
even in the sentomarou fight kizaru was a bit hesistant, hence the flashbacks, so i guess his unclear justice would make sense if he gave up or is restraining himself and let saturn handle it cos he doesn't want to kill vegapunk. Also, Saturn isnt that much flabbergasted or very concerned that kizaru is on his back, and just called him out for being lazy in his work, hence "your work is unusually slow".
My favorite Devil Fruit is the Pika Pika no Mi and it is followed by the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi. It seems like a no win situation for the Straw Hats. I think by the end of this flashback we’ll see the Rocks Pirates, Garp and Roger’s fight with Xebec, and Kuma getting off God Valley. When we get back to present day Kuma will have arrived at Egghead to save Bonney. He’ll be the one that ends up sending Saturn “away”.
That or honestly this is a pretty good time to introduce dragon(like him fighting) into the story, save luffy and his crew, fight a gorosai, and save vegapunk who he had good relationship with. Almost perfect for dragon to show right now. Since we saw him in a flashback this arc too

I think once we see how big Kuma was as a child since Ivankov said he was big, we'll indirectly know for at least the time being who is "buccaneer" and who isn't. I do agree with your point though, maybe you only inherit the size if you're of 100% buccaneer decent (meaning Kuma's wife was maybe human). I also agree that luffy may be buccaneer but have a very small percentage of it, I am a fan of the theory that Rocks D. Xebec is Garp's father potentially and went to God Valley to fight the Gorosei and become king of the world since he knew they would be there to take part in this tournament.

I think everyone on the island can be overwhelmed by Saturn, like in sabaody.. straw hats will need someone like dragon to show up and help, like when Rayleigh showed up. Else it’s gonna be tricky. I can’t see where the entire crew can leave safely without someone to stop Saturn, and he’s beyond reasoning with.

Kizaru never used his awakening and that in itself saves him. Because you can say Kizaru forced G5 but Kizaru chose not to engage further and kept his trump card hidden

Black Maria's DF is an ancient spider zoan. Alot stronger than a regular spider zoan but still bound by reality, or as much reality as you can get from a manga like one piece. Saturn's DF however is a mythical spider fruit, most likely. So he not bound by the same constraints
Consider how much damage kizaru took, he took a muscle amped, Nika amped, Conquerors coded attack to the head (whilst being a normal human) and he ain't even knocked out
To your point about Buccaneers, a non "piece of crap" pirate in this context would be called a Privateer. Essentially sanctioned by whatever government reeled them in to continue their piracy, but in the name of said government. Perfect example of this was the Seven Warlords before they were disbanded. All originally pirates (save for Mihawk i guess), who were then seen as assets rather than liabilities, and so were conscripted by the Navy to conduct their business in the name of the Marines as opposed to being thrown in Impel Down.
You’re kinda downplaying Kizaru. Kizaru wasn’t tryna fight him at all. Luffy won since he accomplished his goal and Kizaru didn’t. It was barely a fight. Edit: I never said Kizaru would win, I said they had different goals. Which was stated in the manga. They weren’t trying to fight each other. I have a suspicion that there are like supernatural/divine lvl fruits and the evil ones grant impartiality(ie u have to be killed to die) and the god ones shorten your life. The theory about joy boy possibly being a buccaneer is a far stretch. For Kizaru I've said this before in other places. Due to Kizaru's speed he doesn't get hlt often or have to endure heavy hits. So it's a trade off. His high evasion resulted in low defense.

The way the scans set up the Bonney remembering the Kuma flashbacks of him telling her about nika and how he liberates people brings joy to people and all that’s as Saturn is lifting her up to have her killed by a firing squad it feels like such a set up for a big moment like Luffy waking up or the Iron Giant finally making its appearance but something’s gonna happen id be pretty shocked if Bonney just got shot down there

I still think that everyone's overlooking a parallel Oda has put in our faces. We got Vegapunk after so long, but the twist was it's multiple characters; one main body and several "satellites". Most of those satellites have already served their purpose, and the idea as a whole makes little sense when he has punk records and robot minions. BUT if Imu also has satellites... now Vegapunk makes more sense as a tricky little clue left by Oda. I think Imu has a Devil-Devil power or hito-hito model Devil of some name like Nika, but it's abilities include summoning demons with those pentagram circles. I think the Gorosei are devil satellites to Imu, they don't die because they aren't humans who ate fruit, they're just devils summoned by a fruit power. Imu says so little and does so little, leaving everything to the gorosei, with complete trust, as if she knows they will do exactly as she wants. Because they will, they are bound to her, they are her minions. What do you think?
even in the sentomarou fight kizaru was a bit hesistant, hence the flashbacks, so i guess his unclear justice would make sense if he gave up or is restraining himself and let saturn handle it cos he doesn't want to kill vegapunk. Also, Saturn isnt that much flabbergasted or very concerned that kizaru is on his back, and just called him out for being lazy in his work, hence "your work is unusually slow".
My favorite Devil Fruit is the Pika Pika no Mi and it is followed by the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi. It seems like a no win situation for the Straw Hats. I think by the end of this flashback we’ll see the Rocks Pirates, Garp and Roger’s fight with Xebec, and Kuma getting off God Valley. When we get back to present day Kuma will have arrived at Egghead to save Bonney. He’ll be the one that ends up sending Saturn “away”.
That or honestly this is a pretty good time to introduce dragon(like him fighting) into the story, save luffy and his crew, fight a gorosai, and save vegapunk who he had good relationship with. Almost perfect for dragon to show right now. Since we saw him in a flashback this arc too

I think once we see how big Kuma was as a child since Ivankov said he was big, we'll indirectly know for at least the time being who is "buccaneer" and who isn't. Black Maria's DF is an ancient spider zoan. Alot stronger than a regular spider zoan but still bound by reality, or as much reality as you can get from a manga like one piece. Saturn's DF however is a mythical spider fruit, most likely. So he not bound by the same constraints

To your point about Buccaneers, a non "piece of crap" pirate in this context would be called a Privateer. Essentially sanctioned by whatever government reeled them in to continue their piracy, but in the name of said government. Perfect example of this was the Seven Warlords before they were disbanded. All originally pirates (save for Mihawk i guess), who were then seen as assets rather than liabilities, and so were conscripted by the Navy to conduct their business in the name of the Marines as opposed to being thrown in Impel Down.
You’re kinda downplaying Kizaru. Kizaru wasn’t tryna fight him at all. Luffy won since he accomplished his goal and Kizaru didn’t. It was barely a fight.

The theory about joy boy possibly being a buccaneer is a far stretch. Everybody theorised that joy boy could have been a giant, then they theorised that he could have been an Oar (like Kaido) and now y’all theorise that joy boy is a lunarian, finall y’all theorise that joy boy is a buccaneer race. Everybody is just labelling every “powerful” race and think that joy boy is one of them while in reality we literally see that power of joy boy’s devil fruit through Luffy.
