In this video four different gear boxes for racing cars in scale 1:87 are shown. The first two are powered by 4mm motors, the last two each by a 6mm motor.
Hello, May I ask how come in some cars you have different gear selections? I would of just connected the motor pinion to the axle gear, but i'm starting to think it would affect how the car moves in a slow constant state. Kinda how smoothly your models moved off the line for presentation. I'm still doing my homework for this project lol.

Motors are 4x8mm and 6x10mm.
