Due to being hit by the flu season, we have to postpone the release of our Architects of the West Kingdom review from Wed. (1/23) to a later date. Don't worry though, our normal Friday video will be up as usual.
Architects of the West Kingdom seems like a very fun game. Will definitely check it out. Also eager to see your upcoming video review. Keep up the great videos! Always a joy to watch.
Thanks for the playthrough. Raiders of the North Sea was always a favorite of mine, but I think Architects has surpassed it. It moves so fast, but still has good depth. The solo game is a lot of fun too.
25:59 This is the procedure for Black Market Reset: 1. All Workers currently in the Black Market are moved to the Prison. 2. The top Small Market Card (left) is turned over and placed on top the Large Market (right). 3. Players with any Black Market Reset based Apprentices may take their actions in any chosen order. Would it not be correct to assume that if you have workers in the black market, then you don't receive awards from the Squire apprentice, since the action is taken at step 3 and the workers are placed in prison in step 1 ?
Yeah that's something we debated at the time and perhaps got wrong. Either way, thanks for the observation -- it's definitely something to think about.
I've been wanting to play it since first seeing this game. Really like your playthrough and how quick the game moves. I like Raiders but I see this having more options and player interaction. Looking forward to your review!
Sadly no 😣. We'd love to get our hands on Wingspan though, since we always like to see what Stonemaier's up to. Also, we definitely need to get Midgard to the table someday.
Pretty sure Will screwed D out of a coin when it came to switching out that resource card counter. Also he shouldn't have gotten the resource benefit from the black market reset. Sweet playthrough otherwise.

Board Crazy , if you run out of workers and there are none of your workers on anyone’s board or in prison, what do you do on your turn???
@@TimYoung1984 You just take one of your workers back from the board and that is your entire turn. So it's best not to let that happen.

Will here - I totally agree! Raiders is a good worker placement game; Architects is a great one. Thanks for watching 😀

Nevertheless nice gameplay runthrough :)

Any chance you guys have a copy of Wingspan? Architects is currently my favorite work replacent and I love Champions of Midgard.

It may have looked like Will screwed D out of a coin, but we counted to make sure he didn't. The re-count part got edited out for time.
