God I love this game, I almost beat the story mode. Fun fact Dave brings a triceratops robot into another dimension and kills some timespace gnomes.

As someone who has way too many hours in GW2, it's not pay to win at all, there's ways to grind coins rather easily. Also, the PvZ community has been active all this time, no one just remembers them.

@@ShroomBois_Inc I'm Max rank gw2 and have an alt account in at 2600 and have 1000 something hours of play time in it and I'll SAY GW1 has more balanced characters because in my opinion toxic pea and super commando look balanced compared to every dedtination character and toxic brainz they all need a Nerf or flat out remove dedtination character so no one complains about them being awful characters again cuz they got buffed 3 or 2 times to become too strong and toxic brainzs damage is fine just make toxic overload harder to get into by either nerfing his health to 150 or 170 or fix how many punches are needed for overload

The reason GW2 has a “story” is because fans of Garden Warfare complained that there was no single player mode in the first one
Popcap didnt even take it seriously so it was just about as meaningless as it gets.

As far as I'm concerned the only story is that plants are fighting zombies and this game is after the zombies win. That's the only information that's really needed or really wanted.
I think people misunderstand the point of the story. It’s not about telling a story, it’s to justify having a full length campaign as not having story would make the campaign seem stupid. Like could you imagine call of duty released a game and the campaign had no story but instead just had a bunch of unrelated levels? People would boycott.

(I dont actually remember what it was but i swear it was in all caps and emphasised something dumb). After that there was something on twitter where Mat got called out by the devs of the game and Toby Fox and instead of fixing the title and a simple "Sorry. I'll fix the title" there was the whole dumb video and i think a really long tweet

@@lamfan3591 the microtransactions are completely optional and give you no more benefits that anyone who's simply played the game and gotten everything just by playing. It's just characters and customization that you can get from simple packs. The only thing that would get you a slight benefit is the Deluxe Edition but it's like 4 dollars these days.

RT!!!!!! The quests and story elements once you complete them gives you a large source of the money you need to upgrade and get new characters. Also when you 100% the story it unlocks a time travel gnome wave thing and tons of other things

They’re actually pretty solid. They get referenced in this game too as backyard items.
And if you pay enough attention to the original PvZ, somewhere in Crazy Dave's van is a book called War and Peas, I think. I always remember seeing it in there, but I could be wrong.

Pvz 2 is a pretty good game, I’ve been playing it recently, even with the microtransactions it doesn’t really ruin the gameplay. You should make a video on it.

There is little overarching storyline in the PVZ world. Garden Warfare 1 and 2 have no story, and the comics don't have an overarching plot.

It's the first one but you earn and need more money, there's a storyline with bosses for both sides and there's more characters. Also, Dr. Chester is gone but they made a reskin with a new, uncopyrighted look.

Garden Warfare doesn't have its own lore, it branches off from the original games and the comics. Garden Warfare focuses on the gameplay and doesn't provide much exposition and story.
