    Love that you support one another! This is how horsemanship should always be. Cooperative effort.

    Looks like y’all got a great group of prospects. Thank you for posting. It’s been a while since I’ve seen anything from you. Maybe I’ve just been missing it. Blessings to you and your little one.

    Well...they're definitely wild horses!

    I recently got a fairly wild mustang that was previously somewhat basic trained but hasn't been for 2 years so basically back to being alittle wild so I renamed mine to Azula. And I had doubt because I'm not a mare person and I've only trained one horse and he was already halter broke but she isn't so. Defenetly I was ready but not ready and I just learned she loves carrots and I used that opportunity to halter her by giving carrots and it's to the point where she was falling asleep when I was brushing her after I halter her and she was looking for more carrots from my pocket. She hasn't pined her ears at me yet so I'm hopeful that she can change my view point on mares. And she is my first official more wild mare mustang I've training and she will be my personal horse for a while maybe forever. I'm hoping forever. As my previous mustang I had for 2 years and was basically kid broke after I was done with him. 🤣 so I got her in hopes I can see if I can train her from the ground up and put more experience under my belt in training and understanding there body language more.

    Do you train and pick up horses for people that want to adopt a mustang

    I was wondering why you made the comment “Utah mustang scare you”?

    Do you pick or does BLM pick for you?

    • @CamillesMustangs
      @CamillesMustangs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The BLM provides the pool of horses and the Mustang Heritage Foundation makes random assignments

    So, she finished growing a baby, birthed the baby, trained the mustang and WON the "Mustang Makeover". I would call that a pretty good year.

    It was a hard decision but i passed on a mustang. I want one so bad but im not sure they would do well on east coast endurance. I now own a full blood arab out of inception.

      thats exactly what im getting one for lol! They do great at endurance if you get one from the lighter boned herds!

      @@Polopony20. not so much on the east coast if you want to be competitive at the 50 mile +. Trust me, ive done my research. East cost vs west coast is very different.
