- In todays tutorial I'm going to be showing you a QUICK and EASY Bath Towel Wrap made out of a regular bath towel.... Easy Easy to do and takes about an hour to do..... All you need is 1 inch thick elastic, Velcro, Ribbon and a towel..... These make for an AMAZING gift to give! SOOOOO Budget Friendly! I LOVE gifting these withe some Bath and Body works or my Homemade body scrub!!!! a Great alternative to a bath robe for those summer months! Makes for the Perfect bathing suit cover up as well!

Hi Kelly, this project was so much fun that I made six of them, three for girls, and three for boys. They came out beautifully. I did some embroidery and applique on the girls towels, and monograms for the boys. These made terrific gifts for Christmas at a very affordable cost. Thanks for sharing your passion.

I'm excited looking back at some of my old favorite video's i have saved and found this one. I wish you would do more sewing video's. I really enjoy them. I think I'm getting an early start on some Christmas presents 🎁. I just got an embroidery Machine a few months ago so I think I'm going to add a monogram to the front. Love watching your video's.
Super nice idea! I always stay wrapped in a towel while I'm doing my hair and I always have to readjust the towel (everyone who does this knows it is a pain in the butt) lol I didn't know it would be so easy to make my own wrap, so thank you for sharing!! Also, I don't know why, but you touched my heart when you shared your story, and your faith in God. I haven't been to church in many years and my 24 year old married daughter is always trying to get me to go. I just woke up and it's 5am and noticed it was Sunday and thought about shocking my daughter and showing up to church. Instead I started to watch my you tube videos, and ran across yours!!

What a great idea. I have 8 granddaughters and you just gave me a wonderful idea for Christmas. I've watched and studied your video. I just never like the velcro, so I figured out a way to add metal snaps in place of the velcro. It helps make them adjustable. Using a bath sheet, it can fit a Medium to a 2x. Everyone in my house uses them!

Hi I use to make these years ago, my secret is get extra large towels. I just purchased 3 Turkish towels 90 x 180. Lighter in weight, they were $40 each. Purchased for $15 each at Farmers.get lot more gathers, for bigger people. I also just take elastic to edge of wrap around. I like at least 12 inches overlap to other side.

Loved this gift idea with the wrap towel and bath salts spa! I want to make one so when I step out of the bath tub and want to blow dry my hair and its hot I can be cool and not over dressed while blow drying my hair in the summer. I want to add on a wash cloth pocket so I can add my hair clips while dividing my hair or keep my cell phone close by. I love that you trust in the Lord, He is always where we can't be and protect the people we love when we cant protect them. I love God so much and happy we have Him to watch and protect us where ever we might be and that we are never alone in the happy days or on the sad ones He is always there to trust Him and lean on Him.....So beautiful! I hope everything turned out OK with your husband. Lord I ask you to protect her husband where ever he may be protect him from the dangers of fire and life, protect his fellow workers and firemen, bring them safely to their home, family, children and wives and help them put out these fires and be safe, Amen! I just csme across your video because I would like to make a towel wrap. Would you be able to tell me how I can make these adjustable with the Velcro and the elastic? What I mean is I have a neighbor who wants me to make her some for her girls trip for about four women. I don’t want to have to ask what their size is and I know there’s a way to do a one size fits all type wrap. Could you provide some help in this? I really appreciate it! Looking forward to making this. Everything else seems self explanatory on how to do the rest. I’m just having trouble figuring out how to make it adjustable for different size women. Thanks

Hi, Kelly I just ran across this tutorial and am going to make this for my mom's Christmas gift! I am wondering...she gave me her bust measurement, but knowing that you need elastic taught enough to keep this in place...do you have any assistance or rule of thumb to follow?

What is the width of your elastic?
I believe she said she used 1" wide elastic. I am going to use 1-1/2" elastic, as I think I am larger than she is, and I want to make sure it is very secure. I may also use a bath sheet to make sure I have enough "overlap" of the two ends.

That's a good question... I don't know of one to be honest.... I have just always wrapped the elastic around as the measurement. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help to you...
