keeping the fundamentals aside, i really like the fact that TATA Steel have been among one of the only 4 companies in india to mark complete 100 on the fighting and planning out the climate change strategies. For me, having the ownership of something i am proud to possess and focuses on such things that mostly not even care about is more important than something which is only rigorously destroying it :)

    Stock - Tata Steel
Reason - I strongly believe that Indian economy will improve greatly going forward. Also its worth noting that PM's vision is that every indian should have a own house. Even in the latest budget, infrastructure was given huge importance. Steel plays major role in all these. Steel can fuel other industries like housing, infra, manufacturing etc. So I like the outlook and growth prospects of steel industry on the whole and Tata Steel is a market leader. Hence the pick

    Stock: ITC
Reason: I am a 75 years old retired professional and it is said that to be prudent to invest only in fixed income instrument and not in stocks at my age, however I find that ITC gives dividend which beats bank interest and you still have chance of appreciation! Further the company ticks all the boxes for a diversified company with good management and proven track record, so perhaps a good choice to invest anyway and enjoy better of both the strategies.

    Stock: TCS
Reason: For the next few years, IT is going to do well. The primary reason is that most of these companies are moving from Traditional software services to Digital services and there is a huge demand of the same from US, Europe, Continental Europe, APAC and India. Definitely, next three years are for IT and TCS is placed well from that perspective and market leader and a large cap. So looking to have the stock in my portfolio.

Hello Ankur. Love your videos. Just a small suggestion/correction regarding the OTP. One time password (OTP) is by default dynamic. The static one is called a 2FA PIN. Also OTP can be sever generated like SMS/Email OTP or device/software generated, e.g. Google Authenticator (time based OTP), with a Software OTP being more secure than a SMS OTP, due to physical lockdown of OTP generation process.

The stock that I will like to hold is Pidilite.
The reason is very simple, I can't imagine any other name than Fevicol that indian households use for adhesives. That shows how dominant this company is in the particular sector.

    • @agnivasinha2114

Then why not Nestlé? Because every household will have 1-2 tubes of Fevicol but 10 packets of Maggie costing approximately same- as per your logic, also Nestlé is one of the top FMCGs. I mean no offense by the way. Cheers!

TCS: I always wanted to invest my money apart from FD and I have been thinking to do it since the last 5 yrs even though I started job 9 years back. Now that I have actually formed an investment plan, I want to invest in TCS because that was my first company. I regret not investing in TCS in 2012 when I first started my job becuse that amount would have given me great returns today. Still, it is never too late and I want to start with TCS because it has been performing consistently well and also because it was my first company. I have been a risk averse person but your videos have given me the motivation to start investing even though I am in my early 30s. :)

    STOCK-"BAJAJ FINANCE"
    REASON-
I am new to this stock journey and u being one of my first guru gave immense knowledge about finances.
Financial services is undergoing a very silent revolution. It is one sector which is likely to be impacted by technology the most and if you look at the kind of soft infrastructure or digital infrastructure that India has laid out in terms of the UPI, payment companies etc. there is likely to be competition from all sides in financial services.
    Thank you.

    P&G Hygiene and Healthcare.
It is one of the leading FMCG companies in india. It has a strong and loyal consumer base. The brands that it owns are names that every household is aware of such as
Ariel , Gillette, Head & shoulders, Olay , Pampers, Oral-B, and many more.
Keeping the business model and consumer base aside , the company's fundamentals are very strong and the financials are impressive.
    On top of that;
    Debt to Equity - 0
    Promoter pledge - 0
Which is a sigh of relief and reason to trust the company more.

    Reliance
Why would anyone not want to buy reliance for long term (maybe even short term). It has the greatest valuation in Indian stock market. It has a legendary visionary who is managing the company. It has changed the Indian lifestyle with the jio scheme and is very powerful in finding new potential opportunities and implementing on them. The people of India believed in Dhirubhai Ambani and invested in reliance when it needed that the most and it has proven to be profitable every time. I'd like to put my faith in it too.

Justification: even after low profitability, the team has managed to get through and survive and did their IPO. They have atleast 10yr experience in the food tech industry. Hero Motocorp
Reason 1 : As per the weather forecast of Indian Monsoon predicted is Normal, I think this stock could do well from the point it is trading currently. As per their new deal with Harley Davidson for making Premium Motorcycles (Mostly EV) for Indian Roads, I think Hero can also capture the semi urban and urban areas of the Indian Markets which is now dominated by Bajaj, Honda, Suzuki, etc.
Reason 2 : As per the historical data, the sales of Hero Motocorp always goes up when there is Normal Monsoon predicted by the Weather Forecast and also the Rural Indians are the biggest customers of HeroMotoco (38% market share) so there is a huge probability of upside in the coming days.
    That's all!

Reason- Even though the sales growth & return on equity haven't been up to the mark for the last couple years, MRF is a fundamentally good company. MRF has also launched many new products. So, a good stock to be in the portfolio.

  • @ravigala

    MRF.
    Why?
    1. I'll be honest it has the highest share price in India so that's my main reason. Also it is the leading and the most efficient tyre manufacturer in India.
    2. We all know that EV is the future but we can have an indirect play on EV by investing in MRF because irrespective of which company's car is going to sell, tyre makers will benefit and being the market leader MRF can benefit a lot from this.
    3. One of the key risk for MRF is raw material price mainly of rubber and crude derivatives. But in future due to the adoption of EV crude oil prices will go down all over the world and this can benefit MRF. This will be lead to decrease in raw material cost and increase in profit margin and if everything is executed perfectly maybe even make it a candidate for re-rating.
    4. Also because of the high price there is very little participation from retailers and even some institutions so it trades at a fair valuation even in bull markets and in future if they consider to split (which is very unlikely) the price will become affordable and also volumes will increase and increased participation can maybe even lead to re-rating.
Thank you for reading this :)
