Very nice runs! 8:22 Lacerator on switch for the swarms and then the Duriel fight can offer no trouble either. :) 1:03:50 With the Frenzy Barb with the Beast and Death Cleaver, I would also suggest that you try the eth Lacerator instead of the Death Cleaver. Death Cleaver is good, but the Lacerator has an insane chance to proc Amp dmg with Frenzy(so you basically do double damage all the time, plus you make physical immunes a nonproblem). I made video about my Frenzy barb and I use that combo. It even destroys physical immune Death Lords in seconds.
Good suggestions man However I can't help but feel like you're knocking death cleaver a bit. That thing already does plenty of damage with 315ed on a berserker axe and 66% deadly strike (which is double damage every 2 out of 3 turns anyways) However I'm sure lacerator is great too, especially an eth one; the problem with its amp damage tho is that it would overwrite life tap. At that point I think we're going to have a different conversation about "Can you do ubers without life tap" I do think you can, but you'll probably need to prepare for such with a lot of life steal on your gear elsewhere Against Baal runs, even on players 3 my axe barb can get away without life tap but Ubers are a different level of monsters (hence the name I guess :P )

Although you did say that Life Tap was a bit of pain to proc anyways(sometimes it did not even want to proc). Death Cleaver is good. Very good. I love it, especially since I worked so hard to get the ones I have lol. Still, in my humble opinion, it can't compare to Lacerator(for a frenzy barb with a Beast, not any other build), because of the Amp dmg(33% chance to proc it??? that is crazy with Frenzy, it procs all the time, especially on bosses). With Gore and Highlord's you are already doing plenty of DS, plus you have your axe mastery(which does not add up to ds, but it still gives like 30% or something so even if DS does not proc, you can still proc the double damage from the mastery), so that 66% is a bit less impressive than it seems. Plus you have no real way of dealing with physical immunes other than Berserk. Plus I found it to be a bit annoying to keep repairing it, because the BA is just soo low on durability(but then again... the Beast is a BA too lol). Anyway, I love your content, and I am interested to see what you come up with next! :)
You probably already know, but Llama made a 13 hour long torch speed run, so it should be possible with that kind of gear. I really enjoy your content btw.
Yeah, if you're talking about the run in which he "found some goblin toes" yeah I was in the stream and it was a laugh; Again though, like I mentioned, when you have damage as bad as with just startup gear you really NEED both crushing blow and prevent monster heal/open wounds. Llama in that run had the luxury of using malice with both those stats and I know it doesn't sound like much but trust me it is night and day's difference; I mean just look at the clips that I've put at the end where Lilith was literally taking no damage and that's because of her regen and you really need open wounds/prevent monster heal to combat that which I just didn't have because I didn't find anything with it So yeah, glad you enjoy the content tho :)

Or maybe it is against “the rules” as you didn’t make it in your playthrough? Alternatively prevent monster heal should be lasting 180 minutes or so, which means that you could do a swap. (Possibly you already know, not trying to be supercilious)
@@nicklasrrholt6028 no you're right, blood gloves is the way to go (even though you can get max 10% cb on them) I wouldn't consider them to be "farmed" per se Like I said, I will try doing it again in the future and that's most likely the route I'll take

Yeah, all the cool runewords using Lo (other than doom i guess) are ladder only. If you want you can install plugy now and transfer your saves to it but I totally respect if you want to play vanilla. Thanks for the compliment on the smiter :)
I honestly find myself not using dracs for a lot of my characters. On a smiter for example i tend to gravitate towards crafting a pair of blood gloves since you have lifetap from exile and open wounds from gore riders already. The 5% chance is so unreliable so that whenever you are doing ubers and that's your only source of on gear lifetap you will bring a wand with you anyway, at least i am. And at that point why even bother since open wounds is so easy to get from other places. tldr: laying on hands and crafted gloves are my most used melee gloves for ubers.
Your static field weapons destroyed Duriel with frenzy barb. I thought static field is capped at 75 percent in hell difficulty but after seeing this video i dont think it works like that. You had at least two static field procs against duriel and one of them put him to 25 percent health. This static field strat is definately viable.
Edit: 30 secs later you finally acknowledge it :- ) Leavin the comment up, i'll admit i spoke too soon! "Prevent monster heal" doesn't work on act Bosses/Ubers. You need high, high poison or open wounds. For all this bitching on dracul's it's been saving your hiney a lot. Say after me: "Open wounds saved my life" :-)
You’re right tho, if I said PVM works on ubers that’s my bad. I do remember that I did go after open wounds however, which is why I tried to incorporate it elsewhere in my builds as well

You're kinda underselling the open wounds on Dracul's. The regen on ubers is even tough for a griefer.
