This video was way too brief to cover the entire meta shifts of PvZ Heroes and also had a lot of inaccuracies. While I'd say there isn't enough data to work with during Set 1 since there wasn't really a meta back then, Set 2 could've been more extensively covered with the release of Teleportation Zombie and Bad Moon Rising which was the real dominant force on the zombie's side paired with the 2-cost Nebula. Set 3 was also inaccurate since Tempo Grass Knuckles was not widely adopted until around 2020 and that deck had no business being in the meta when there was extremely overpowered aggro cards on the zombie side including the 2/2 Disconaut which made Flamenco and Binary Stars bullseye at the time, so Tricarrotops wasn't even that good at the time which I think you failed to mention. (not to forget that zombie combo decks were way better than anything at that time because of 3 cost +3 nebula as well as the 2 pot leprechaun and 2 cost regifting) And also you forgot to mention Fossilhead which was the real dominant force with Stompadon decks due to getting you ahead on the board early as well has Middle Manager synergising a lot with Stompadon. Set 4's inaccuracies were also quite apparent as this was the time where plants dominated the playing field with 4 cost Briar Rose, 2 cost Solar Winds and the release of Cob Cannon which was the most impactful plant in this meta, not to mention Sunflower Seed which was "nerfed" but actually buffed. You didn't even mention how oppressive Berry strategies were because of Strawberrian, or the fact that Shelf Mushroom was actually incredibly overpowered for being able to make a good trade on Turn 2 and then also activate the evolution + fusion for Strawberrian the next turn. On top of that you didn't mention anything post-2019 which is the most defined meta in the game's history, which took time to evolve and it did not cover these at all. The meta heavily swinged as more discoveries were made, the most pinnacle ones being Pirates -> Photosynthesizer -> Blockbuster -> Heal Midrose from where solar heal midrange/control decks have remained the most consistently top performing decks in tournaments. In addition to that it was funny you mentioned Valk Trickster Hybrid even though that deck is now in the gutter when compared to Trickstache which is superior in almost every way possible due to Valkster getting dunked on by Guardian package decks after the discovery of FMN Trica Photo combo.
Appreciate the feedback, going into making the video I did expect to miss a lot of information, but now reading this comment I do realize that I missed quite a lot more than I expected. In retrospect maybe I could've spent a bit more time writing the video since I realized that I even used to play some of the things you mentioned here. Not covering anything post 2019 was intentional since the way I see it aside from new discoveries there haven't been any balance changes, so no new changes could happen due to stats changing, but now that you mention it, it is true that the time after set 4 has been most of the time the game has existed, so it probably would've been a good idea to cover it... I also did notice that I kinda just mentioned way too quickly some of the cards, like Briar Rose, which I instantly just went on to talk about heal decks without explaining why it was busted by itself. For now I will just change the title to specify that it covers the period between the release date and 2019, so as to make it more accurate, and for now I will pin this comment since it's kind of the only one featuring things I missed for now. @@bog4612 I don't think it was in the game during set 1, HOWEVER there was a glitch that caused your block meter to become very glitchy and start charing random amounts instead of the normal 1, 2, or 3. I think it was only visual though
