Sure, but if you ask republican's the gun charges were only brought to avoid investigating the more serious inquiries, where Boe flew around the world and was handed bags of cash because of his name. The concern is his father at least new about this, and was possibly in on it. There are texts from the son suggesting his father's involvement, although those aren't definitive proof because of course his son could have lied in the texts. Anyway, you need to understand that in the states the FBI really wants Biden, not Trump, to win, so they are going to look into every little thing Trump did, and are really reluctant to investigate anything that might implicate the President. Getting Biden's son on this, which frankly no one cared about, is seen by the right as an attempt to dodge the accusation that they aren't investigating Biden...while not really investigating the Biden's. Initially the prosecutor even granted a plea deal to Boe in which he would have been made immune to all future charges, including things unrelated to the gun charges, (i.e. covering him for the blatant corruption) which only failed to go through because the judge, who had to sign off on it, through out the plea deal and basically forced the prosecutor to try the case.
Also the crime he was convicted of was one the Republican Party pushes against as it was gun regulation

Anyway, Macron is mainly good at being the only second choice people can have with how screwed up the French electoral system is. This whole second-round thing is incredibly advantageous for politicians in the center. In both elections, it was either him or Le Pen. When he can't rely on a second round of vote like in the EU elections, he certainly doesn't win.

They deliberately targeted a specific ethnic group and religion in their attack and stated such was their goal.
They are looking at the civilian perspective and im pretty sure most countries see hamas as a terrorist group already
Hamas are not a un member state and the scale of their war crimes is at least 30 times smaller (this is by no way a defense of hamas it's just that their attrocities are objectively on a far smaller scale).
@orkanner2183 Hamas are represented in the UN. The Palestinian ambassador to the UN was at one point a member of Hamas and members of Hamas are currently employed in the UN.
The UN does not recognise Hamas as a terrorist organisation and does not screen for such when employing people from the territories of Palestine.

The guy dissolved the parliament only after making sure that the far right had the majority, while willfully ignoring calls for his resignation during the retirement age reform protests. For a 'centrist' guy, he seems really conciliatory with a party founded by SS officers like Pierre Bousquet and Léon Gauthier, and allergic to anything leftist-adjacent when it comes to the economy.
