As always, we are given true walk arounds and reviews.
Highlights - location is great if you dont want to party & be busy ✅
Private beach feel ✅
Good food in neighbouring restaurants ✅
Sunset ✅ - very cool pool but bar only open for a short while ❌
Close to boat tours ✅ (advise booking those & not with hotel - far cheaper & can leave earlier to beat crowds)
Cons - unhelpful, uncaring staff ❌
Food is not great ❌
Not an accessible hotel, on a hill so need to be aware of this ❌
We had a cleanliness issue with water & also food being left around the premises for over 4 days ❌
Drink prices & the on site shop are expensive ❌
Nothing really to do in the evenings ❌
You do not need to stay here for more than 2 nights.

I am staying here at this resort tomorrow, this has been a very useful video! I have a beachfront bungalow for 2 nights. I will take your advice and eat at places away from the hotel further down the beach. Can I ask what the evening is like on the beach? Is it quiet or is it lively? what time do the bars and eateries close for the evning? Thanks!

It’s very quiet here by the hotel on the beach I’d personally say. I hope you have a really wonderful stay. We have our Thailand series vlogs coming out weekly and phi phi will start in about 2 weeks time!

@@StephandRhys Hello well I stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The beach front bungalow was dreamy and the resort nice and sedate, Beautiful beach and easy taxi access via road to Loh Bagao Bay which was fantastic. LOVED

what higiene problem ??

There was no clean water. It stopped for a few hours and then for 24hours was coming through black with bits of dirt in

Not to mention the lack of cleanliness around the hotel

@ oh I see. Well we enjoyed it, it wasn’t sensational, however just be warned the staff couldn’t care less. Any issues ‘sorry for inconvenience’ and then move on. They don’t actually offer to help. We had a few things flag up. Tours are cheaper with the boats on the beach next door & the food is so much better out of the complex quite literally 30 second walk away. Take things like sun cream etc as it’s SO expensive there. Stock up!! Have so much fun!
