The down B is engineer using the widow maker a weapon in TF2 that uses your metal as ammo and you get ammo for hitting your target.
Yep, if you can aim (unlike me) you have infinite ammo and a good way to replenish metal.
It also doesn’t need to reload, which means all you gotta do is aim + mouse1 and you won.

Yeah the move costs 25 metal but hitting it gives you 50 so you net a nice +25

Two other things the Enginner 2 can do is. If you use up special and go to a teleporter while an opponent is near it, it will do tons of damage. Down special on the ground sends out a little robot which walks in a straight line and does damage on contact. Also if you press the voice box on the peppino skin twice you get Pizza Tower noises.

Engineer 2 isn’t the only Rivals of Aether Workshop character with a Final Smash. Thwomp, Morshu and Spamton, as well as the entire base roster all have their own final smashes.

For the down special its the widowmaker and you can tell because it uses 25 metal
it also replenishes metal like the widowmaker in game
but the widowmaker uses 30 metal

Yo that Final Smash is matter of fact a reference to the mech suit from the SFM Animation " Spy's Disguise " pretty much red engineer gets defeated, and gets into a really cool fuckin massive mech suit, It's really awesome.

If you didn't know, Engineers _do_ tend to beat Bots in TF2, primarily by hiding behind their sentry guns to keep their head hitbox out of its detection (Bots won't target buildings) There have been videos where squads of engineers will take over the entire map, even managing to trap the bots in their own spawn while they all taunt and cheer in true Texan fashion.

The neutral air is just a lazy slap while the forward air is making reference to the "Organ Grinder" Taunt kill.

Interestingly enough, the up smash "DONK" effect is a TF2 reference, not to engineer - but to Demoman.
One of the Demoman's alternate primary weapons is the Loose Cannon, a miniature ship cannon which launches explosive cannonballs that can also do damage on impact.
When you time it correctly, the impact and explosion can both hit the target, which is called a "Double Donk" and makes the "DONK x2" graphic appear (if you look carefully in the Engy 2 animation, it does indeed say x2). So that's why you see that graphic when hitting with the upsmash directly - you get one hit swinging the turret, and one from launching the rocket. A double donk.

The "Lasso" move is using the extension cable on his belt, instead of a rope. You can tell by the Male end hanging from his lower hand.

you should try moon-walking with your dash attack to shorten its distance, I learned this as a mechanic in a few of the ROA base cast.
Most of the stuff in gen 2 is pretty accurate to ingame engi. Stuff that you didn't know was the gunslinger taunt, jackhammer taunt, wrangler, widowmaker metal regen, short circuit metal consumption, and some other things

13:21 actually that isn't the shotgun it's the uhh widowmaker it'll use up metal (not ammo) and if you hit anybody with it you'll recharge your metal so basicly it's an infinite clip if you hit it a couple of times
