I was a chain smoking, drug addicted drunk before I came to the Lord. Looking back on my baptism, I was so sick in the soul. But I gave my life to Christ and He broke all my chains. I am sober from everything now. I asked Him when I first came to Him that I was hungry for His Word and I wanted to know it to share. and He answered my prayer. I don't have to worry about death anymore. I know my name is written in that Lamb's book of life and I know that i know THAT I KNOW that I will see my Lord face to face. Thanks be to God everlasting! The beginning and the End, the Almighty who was, is and is to come! Thank you so much God for saving me!
I struggle with my religion. (I am Jewish) but I feel like the lord has saved me and I can put my trust in him. All my Jewish friends think I'm crazy but I love the lord!!! He saved us! He forgave us! And for that I will forever be thankful!!

My healthy 36 year old husband was killed by hospital protocol and left me with three little kids, 3, 7, and 11. Once I found this song, it has become my anthem. I listen to it daily, all the time. It keeps me going and gives me the reminder I need. The Holy Spirit is ALL OVER this song. 💖🙌💖
I used to hate Christian contemporary, even after I was saved. But I really understand why it's such an amazing thing and why we should be grateful for it. The crowd is singing along even more passionately than at the best rock shows I've been to, but it's not to praise and worship the egos of selfish mortals; they are all there praising the one God, and you can almost feel him smiling back at them. It's a very unifying moment to witness.

Then I started listening to a radio station here in FL (z88.3) and noticed how beautiful these songs are, and I went to see one of these singers live... and you are right. Seeing these concerts I noticed that at times people weren't even looking at the stage, but to the sky singing to God. Everyone was singing and praising God, not the artist singing. Sometimes the singers have to let the crowd take over from how overwhelmed they are. It's truly beautiful.

To all who are interested, I just became a Christian in March of 2015 and I am looking for ways to keep my relationship with the Lord strong. It is so incredible to watch this, too, and just see how full this arena is. It's beautiful and amazing. I cheated death today after being involved in a major car accident, I shouldn't be alive typing but I am. Entire car I was in got totaled, if someone had been riding in the front passenger seat they wouldn't be alive. Everything was smushed in except where I was sitting, God was definitely watching over me and gave me a second chance to chance and live for him and I am here to testify that God really does love us and cares about us, Thank You Lord for this blessing of being able to walk away with only cuts and bruises. I had the privilege of attending one of their services in NYC.. i was a med student in India at that time and had come down for some clinical experience.. the day i attended Hillsong was the highlight of my 45 days.. and i did spend time with other family members, work in a dream hospital etc.. but it was just that day and that service that i hold on to.. i prayed so much that day that i should be able to return to America as a practitioner so that i can attend the service every week.. God has other plans and i couldnt make it back there.. but I absolutely agree with u.. i walked out of that service completely changed
Its not about religion, its about what HE has done for us... The Holy Spirit guides us and sets us free. HIS truth, not hatred or power but the truth. For the longest I've tried to convince my ex (who is Jewish), that Jesus is real.. he would be moved also by these songs but the roots that have ran through generations are still rooted deep.. My teens did have hard times to be teens and with their sickness, my mother is old and sick so I’ll take care of she, my father can’t handle he things so much anymore, i did have much health problems and been surgery, my love has staged as guilty and take it to prison and they want to expel him from the country.. etc I dont know how i can handle anymore but i got my faith and I believe in God 🙏🏻 I pray everyday and forgiveness from he if i have done anything wrong. 2 years ago I suffered depression due to bullying cause I cannot walk I have gone through a lot of surgeries and that time I almost committed suicide till I started joining a community and sang for the lord everytime i sing for him i feel like his there telling me everything will be fine and I am proud that this song was one song i love to sing him! I'm only 16 and that worshiping is one way I got healed from depression

i love how even when singing before thousands upon thousands of people, she is not too conscious of the crowd or trying to be the center of attention, but putting our Savior in the center of the glory...humility is another form of worship, i guess.

I cheated death today after being involved in a major car accident, I shouldn't be alive typing but I am. Entire car I was in got totaled, if someone had been riding in the front passenger seat they wouldn't be alive. Everything was smushed in except where I was sitting, God was definitely watching over me and gave me a second chance to chance and live for him and I am here to testify that God really does love us and cares about us, Thank You Lord for this blessing of being able to walk away with only cuts and bruises. I had the privilege of attending one of their services in NYC.. i was a med student in India at that time and had come down for some clinical experience.. the day i attended Hillsong was the highlight of my 45 days.. and i did spend time with other family members, work in a dream hospital etc.. but it was just that day and that service that i hold on to.. i prayed so much that day that i should be able to return to America as a practitioner so that i can attend the service every week.. God has other plans and i couldnt make it back there.. but I absolutely agree with u.. i walked out of that service completely changed

I listen this and cry. My life has been struggle last few years. Gone thru much. My teens did have hard times to be teens and with their sickness, my mother is old and sick so I’ll take care of she, my father can’t handle he things so much anymore, i did have much health problems and been surgery, my love has staged as guilty and take it to prison and they want to expel him from the country.. etc I dont know how i can handle anymore but i got my faith and I believe in God 🙏🏻 I pray everyday and forgiveness from he if i have done anything wrong. Pls spirit leads me to more easier life and let my all love ones be safe, healthy and free
2 years ago I suffered depression due to bullying cause I cannot walk I have gone through a lot of surgeries and that time I almost committed suicide till I started joining a community and sang for the lord everytime i sing for him i feel like his there telling me everything will be fine and I am proud that this song was one song i love to sing him!
