I've been experimenting with these devices, but most times I just end up creating totally mutilated messes. A few times, I get something interesting, but so far nothing I've used in my jam sessions. This video gave me a lot more structure to work with, so super useful. Thanks made.
Great video. I have been mostly using freq and harmonic split since they are usually the easiest of the four in my experience. Putting freq split with mods after a granular synth is nuts.
I wish they just made the spectogram as a seperate little stock device, so that I don't always have to configure Signalizer to get a nice spectogram view
@@AlexReidStudios yeah like normally i try to figure out how to do stuff like this in patcher, and although im sure it could be done, i would rather just have a plugin for it. this is seriously impressive
@@GillamtheGreatest Yeah, I really like how bitwig adds splitter effects, or container devices, so then you can build your own spectral effects based on what you use

No problem, it was the same for me, but I decided to start really simple so I could understand the uses

That's amazing, is so crazy the sonic varoety you can get with those splits. The freq is my favorite

Agree, they need to add better analyzer devices
Great video, thanks 🤩
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it
I see why they were considering making this a separate thing. this is pretty innovative.
and pretty deep! I needed to take my time

@@GillamtheGreatest There are some spectral effects out there but not as splits. Only transient split comes to mind with SplitEQ
@@AlexReidStudios thats about the only thing i can think of, off the top of my head. seriously bitwig did great with this tool

Dude making basses bigger without affecting the sub feels like cheating.
yeah, and as it's spectral is cleaner than using a filter and follows the fundamental
