And to think that he didn’t like cops at the beginning and now thinks of the 99 as his family because of how welcoming and understanding they are to him and holt
That kiss in the rain scene is without a doubt the most romantic thing I've seen in modern sit com history. Also love the fact Scully went from not knowing how to address Capt. Holt for being gay to being a full time shipper😂😂
And I never minded the lack of public displays of affection even though that's a bug that annoys me on television representation it fits with the character profiles but it is so great to see the absolutely unapologetic totally committed kiss in the rain props props to the two actors for representing so well
Maybe it’s part of the bit. They both had to deny themselves expressions of emotion due to the societal pressures, especially Raymond. Basically Cartoonishness to expose the absurd.
At first, I was baffled by their break up, but then I remembered that sometimes, couples just fall out of love. And that Covid made things a bit complicated and seemed to happen in a blink of an eye. It's sad that it's the last but it's an awesome season
Absolutely I actually think it was very good for strongest couple to go through that amount of pressure and then after a lot of hard work too right the ship
Holt and Kevin struggling was absolutely heartbreaking because we saw them as strong and loving and even through the struggles (Like Kevin going to a safe house, Holt lying about his where abouts after being mugged) they always came out strong. But then they didn’t and they were struggling and we see holy crying and it was devastating
A lot of people hated this break up story but I actually loved it. It was a great way to portray how, no matter how long the relationship has been, rough patches are gonna happen. Sometimes it ends in divorce, sometimes it restarts with the couple falling back in love. It was also really realistic that all the circumstances surrounding them took a toll
When the episode of their breakup came, I was really upset. I’m so so happy they were able to work through their differences and agree to be together again.
I felt it was a bit forced but also it was hinted at in the safe house episode, Kevin struggled being stuck inside and with lockdown etc him and holt would have been together 24/7, plus on top of holt being a black police captain I can understand why they went that direction
The thought of Raymond Holt sending dickpics *Point camera* so it appears I will not get the lightning flattering. I will now turn my phonedevice in a 3° angle. Ah. It's perfect. The light catches the essence.

Planning to do more compilations once the season ends so anymore suggestions please let me know :)
Amy and Jake being good parents? (Or something to do with that)
The best of each character this season so best of Jake best of Amy etc
@@brooklyn99shorts74 oh yeah that’s a good idea

What about scully specifically ?
I love how Kevin's "YES YES! We're still married" is a callback from Raymond's "YES YES! We're married." from their wedding flashback.
That entire episode had so many callbacks it was hard to keep track
If only the officiant had been more efficient!
CHEDDAR BEING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ALTER WITH HIS DADS IS ADORABLE
Highly agree. He is deffo their fluffiest son ever.
I will forever cherish Kevin saying "Everyones whos not family" and the 99 is right there
