Just to be completely accurate, the shot at 0:28 did not go over the net and therefore he lost the point. The fact that the ball landed on the opposite side of the table is irrelevant, the rules state the ball must go OVER the net and not to the side of it. I wonder if the scorekeeper caught that?

I didn't know better so I didn't challenge him, which is why I challenged the incident in the video here. Thanks... this is an important thing to know for the future.
it is actually surprisingly tiring. You have to go full speed for short periods of time, hit the ball (probably when you've stopped) then go for full speed again. Like the bleep test
