No joke this thing actually does work. My wife has very long hair and we live in an old house. I would use chemicals every few weeks and because of it I had to get the seals redone. I had to use it about 10 times at 15 psi, but it truly did work.
So, I bought this little gadget about eleven years ago. It came up missing. Someone borrowed/took it. So I purchased a new one once I remembered what it was called. This damn thing works like a charm. Glad I found another one.
I used to have something many years ago and it was the best solution. I've been looking for something like this for ages. I dontbtrust these demos. They would never show anything but 100% success
100% WORKED FOR ME!!! SO HAPPY!!!! Paid $30 CND for this on Amazon. After watching all the videos both on Amazon & YT i was a little nervous concerning the negative reviews. The instructions showing how i needed to reinforced my drain pipe with a stack of books (which i did NOT do) was also rather disconcerting! Anyways I bought this for my bathroom sink. Following a sloppy renovation which left large chunks of plaster down the drain pipe some years ago, which i tried to manually clear as much as possible, but over time it just started to clog more and more, so that my usual methods of physically (never chemically) unclogging not only failed but made it worse by forcing the obstruction deeper into the pipeline. I was desperate to guarantee my success so i followed the instructions carefully (except for the stack of books part, LOL). First, i unscrewed that little stopper cap over the drain and duct-taped the overflow hole. Then, i poured half a bottle of any old dishwashing (not dishwasher) liquid down the drain and left that overnight. Next day i poured a bunch of baking SODA into the drain. Followed by over 1 cup of vinegar and let that fizz & sit for awhile. Then i poured a potful of boiling water down the drain. There was a slight improvement, but it was obviously still clogged. The device required no assembly other than i had to fit my attachment of choice onto it (i used the smallest one). I pumped it up easily until there was good resistance (8 pumps was max. i could do. Don't understand these folks who seem able to pump more than that - if u can u must have gotten a defective one). I fitted the attachment snugly over the drain opening (push it all the way down so you got a good seal around the drain), make sure the water sitting in the sink is a good inch or 2 over the blue section. Pulled the trigger. This made a good POP sound, but i could see it was still clogged. So i pumped 8 times again and repeated the action. This time i could hear a fair amount of gurgling deep inside the drain until the blockage suddenly dislodged!!! I nearly cried with joy!!! I don't understand the reviewers who say the device has no power.
I brought the same thing on Amazon uk, but by the brand name Chicieve. But it is identical, and my bath was really clogged with hair (both my daughters and I have long hair) and usually when it becomes really clogged I have to get the plumber, but this thing really does work. I had to do it 6 or 7 times but then all of a sudden it started draining properly!
Great for simple clogs but when this simply pushed the clog a little further down the drain it is now past the vent and not yet into the larger line so it will likely never make it to the main. Looks like traditional snaking with a hand crank home DIY snake is just as easy and more likely to break up the clog allowing it to pass towards the main with running water and/or retrieve the obstruction.
This is a powerful visual demonstration, but I wonder how closely those nice neat little "clear" pipes actually match REAL copper pipes or PVC pipes that have been in someone's home for 30-40 years and are caked with filth and slime on the inside? now THAT is a demonstration I would love to see! outside of the "lab" and into the real world
Never use soap. Only use cleaners that don't form scum and that break down grease for use on dishes. Never pour oil or grease down a drain. Scum will build up over time as soaps that contribute are used. It will rinse away over time if permanently ceased and as water runs over it. Same with fatty greases. But hot water helps with that much better than cold.
@@DJMichaelAngelo That's because your not supposed to snake your toilet you have to remove the toilet and manually remove the clog if it's stuck in the toilet itself and if that doesn't work then you snake the main sewer line
Until it reaches the 25 feet limit where the snakes cannot reach. Then you have to call the plumber, open the dry walls, unscrew the pipes to remove the clogs... And wait for a bigger bill...
Kept Look up the video from QVC for the Green Gobbler drain cleaner. That stuff doesn't just move a clog it basically dissolves them, and very quickly.

Don’t plungers also use pressure? I was confused when they said that plungers were also a hassle when you are using more elbow grease to unclog your toilet
You can stick a bit of pipe on the end an turn it into a makeshift airgun. I also taped a big profile straw to the end filled it with ant powder and fired it into a cavity where there was a wasp nest. No more wasps. Didn't work on my drains though!
I just got it, but no matte how times I pump it, no pressure is built-up. What am I missing? Is some preparation required before I pump it? Am I missing a gasket? At this time, it looks like I'm going to have to return it. UPDATE: I'm going to return it. I don't know if the design is at fault. or if the unit I got is somehow defective. All I know is that it LEAKS, and that no matter how many times I pump it, NO air pressure is built up (It all leaks out as soon as you pump it, and NO pressure is built up. Even though it was a total flop, I'm going to give it another chance. I'm going to return the unit I got and order it again. If I get a unit that works, I'l be happy to change my rating, but if it's another failure, I'll certainly let you know.
I have this but it recently can't hold much pressure, most of it gets lost from the trigger spot. I am sure that some how some plastic part requires changing but I can't figure out which.
It is normal to operate the pipe is new and it cannot block the misery, but what do you do when the pipe is old and many residues, so it should show us
That trap under the sink is the average trap, it is like a long sweep in a way to enhance the way the gun can unclog the drain. I am a plumber and personally this can cause further issues, so it is better to seek professional help instead of DIY.
Boil 10 cups of water & a cup of laundry detergent in a big pot for 10 minutes. Slowly pour down drain/toilet, use the pump plunger after (but before flushing the toilet). Do this while your dishwasher is on. It automatically drains & rinses out the drains/disposal/sinks. But only a little bit, that's why you need to do this all at once.
no but there could be backsplash - low chances obviously but you never know....do you really want junk, hair, slime, etc from deep in your drain exploding out and hitting you in the face? lol
Don't waste your money folks. This demo was a closed system with no vent, which every home has a vent up on the roof. If it was this easy plumbers would be standing on freeway off ramps holding up signs " will work for food".
Did you see? the water dodnt even move bruh. You just move away the clogged and its still there. So where's that supposed to go??🤔🤔🤔 ahmmm wasting money.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I feel iffy using infomercial products. I love hearing experience.

Good idea
He didn't even clear the pipe the first time! He just moved the clog further in the system!
Ok it only pushed the clog farther down the drain. And the video was speeded up
The snake DOES NOT damage the lines
Kevin Bolsajian Thats how they sell their things. Lying and bad mouthing others for them to feel they are "Diferrent and efficient" wth. such a waste
it damaged my toilet plenty :( that's why I bought a new one

The drain is blocked? The stuff blocking the drain has to be removed not just shoved further down the hole!! What a NOODLE.

Why am I here I have to sleep
becus your looking at the crapist product i recemend green gobler for cleaning your drans
Guys this also has a secret function the 2 inch one worked when my vacuum clogged I couldn’t imaging that working but it did
No it is not clogging more cause the actual pipes become bigger as they go to the central pipe and things can flow then.
is that making the dirts stuck in deeper ?
This is incredible. May clean out a P-trap but when all that clog hits the right angle turns under your floor you will have a worse problem.
Works even better as a nerf blaster!
Does it work on sinks with an overflow hole?
Yes you simply put a wet sponge into it and hold it tight while you trigger the pump.
ok let me get my super soaker from the 90s
Byrant Taylor it won't work
One problem that's only going to push the gunk down into the sewer and eventually cause a severe blockage
I have this but it recently can't hold much pressure, most of it gets lost from the trigger spot. I am sure that some how some plastic part requires changing but I can't figure out which.
Air pressure and water hydro jet (water pressure) are the best to clear pipes and also vacum cleaner for liquids
Does this work on kitchen sinks & garbage disposals? If so, where can I get one for myself ?
when she speeds up time at 3:40 i cant do that i aint chronos
pull up at yo crib wit the high pressure drain pipe cleaning system
What is the name of this amazing contraption!?!?
It is normal to operate the pipe is new and it cannot block the misery, but what do you do when the pipe is old and many residues, so it should show us
But the clog still exists... it’s just in a different location of the pipe. I’m tryna eliminate the clog all together..🤔
You wanna pull it back up?
I see nerf gun potential
Makes a a really good bazooka.
That's exactly why I'm here. Saw a guy do a nerf mod with a "drain blaster" and went search where he got it from :)
I've done it...
It's just that I attached a 6mm diameter acrylic tube and now I fire 6mm BBs...
15 full pumps is mostly enough and fast to reach...
Omg I thought I was the only one who thought of that lol 😂. Big kid at heart 💯😎
There's an attachment for toilets if your toilet has a clogged look at how short that thing is your hand would practically have to be in the water
That trap under the sink is the average trap, it is like a long sweep in a way to enhance the way the gun can unclog the drain. I am a plumber and personally this can cause further issues, so it is better to seek professional help instead of DIY.
Eli Cruz I I
Does is work if im constipated?
Omg work, good job
cant the pipe burst at some point? thats what im worried about
That may work, much of the time.
If clogged beyond vent...i wouldn't bet on it.
I have been using one for the last 12 years. Before buying one I had to call a plumber every 3 months or so.

how do you remove the clogged staffs in the end it is still in the pipe
0:05 air is a mixture of chemicals you absolute walnut
No chemicals, use detergent
She said bathroom stink at 3:40
I've never heard in my life somebody ever needing goggles to clean a drain. I'm not swimming in the drain, am I?
no but there could be backsplash - low chances obviously but you never know....do you really want junk, hair, slime, etc from deep in your drain exploding out and hitting you in the face? lol
How do you avoid the bath sink pop up?
The pop up can be removed
Bath sink pop up is difficult to remove on Pedestal sink
So how does it unclog the line again
Where i can buy from?
Good ol airpressure
Ussless
Damnit I lost my banana peel down my drain.
I've accidentally dropped a peach in the toilet.
It was really clogged.
Ew
@@Ducks-are-cool1 he meant his yellow peach :)
Cost for this
makes a hella good nerf gun

They literally demonstrated this thing jacking the sink up more...
No chemicals,they said....
"use with liquid detergent"
Using drain cleaner would dissolve the clog . This just moves the train to the next station....lol
I think plumbing can work it’s air pressure
They made a huge sale, but not for the reason they thought
My lad needs the industrial version some of the torpedoes he delivers
How much is cost
plunger is the best and quickest way, because not only does it push it also pulls, this will just get you covered in water
look like my downstairs neighbor getting a poop party tonight
I pump mine and nothing happens . Please help
Now I want to buy it to mod it to a nerf blaster
I did buy one but it didn’t work !!!!
What's it like on a real blocked drain?
Doesnt work for me in Australia, perhaps its because the water flows the wrong way. so disappointed with it.
2:20 same 😭🤣🤣
The clog did go though
those "chemicals" in the bag is night quill LOL.
God damnit! I blinked and missed the video...
Lmao
At 1:20 omg so fast
Doesn't work, all it has done is block the pipe further down Look at time 5:51 clearly see the pipe is still blocked.
That's the point of it
It moved the clog further down the drain pipe and the sink didn’t empty.😂
this seems kind of wrong , bc that isnt a typical trap under a sink
Whats wrong with using chemicals?
Lol I’m watching this bc I don’t wanna do homework
1:35 still clogged
40 dollar? It cost 8 dollar in Malaysia😂
20$ its money well spent
5:38 I have that same sink
who
...im pretty sure that bottle of "chemicals" was just NyQuil lol. What a goober.
Just about all fixtures have a vent that's where all your air is gonna go 🤦♂️
The internet and memes is better
Lol after he used it the water didn't move
My 20 year old toilet is sad that it can’t stay clogged
I’d think more of this if you didn’t speed up the camera and try to hide it.
There is green gobbler inside
Mas o alcance é bem curto 🤷🏻
Did you see? the water dodnt even move bruh. You just move away the clogged and its still there. So where's that supposed to go??🤔🤔🤔
ahmmm wasting money.
All of these attachments and he still can't fire elites
how about some concrete?
This is how many times he said air pressure
👇🤪🤪🤪
Don't blink folks now you made your problem worse !!
Me who’s here for a nerf bazooka
Not Working
Its still clogged, it didnt work.
