1917 Variety 1 No stars below eagle Standing Liberty Quarter Dollar

This is a coin that I have seen occasionally since I was a student. It was 60 years ago, and since then I had only seen coins that were worn out, and I thought that someday I would like to have a coin with the year number visible. There are two types, this coin is the first type, but I love both types. I especially like the decorations around the edges. Since it was published for a short period of time, from 1916 to 1930, I am collecting it by year, but there is only one more. It is a difficult coin to collect by year.
Coins in good condition are very nice, but worn coins are unfortunately not very attractive, which may be why they are not so popular.
