highschool is really what you make it. make sure you have fun though! it flies by. go to EVERYTHING! you’d rather say that it sucked than to not go at all and not know how you would’ve liked it. plus, all this only happens once in your life so you should make the most of it! and remember, everything is minuscule so don’t overthink about what people might think about you, etc. if they’re judging you, they probably judge themselves a lot more.

Love the high school vid. Personally high school for me was the best time of my life. It changed my life meeting my smash gaming group, beg dance partner beg dance class, dance group choreo. Loved being apart of smash and psych club with my friend. Loved going to dance concerts, spring show, dragonflicks film festival, brighterside extravaganza and choreo showcase. The spirit weeks, yearbooks are a big highlight for me. Overall high school will always be a huge highlight of my life.

These tips were actually so genuine and helpful! What you said about talking to people is SO TRUE! Me and my friend went to the beach and had many random conversations with strangers and it honestly has shown me that people are pretty nice if you just talk to them! Going off of your first tip: it’s great to find friends and talk to people! Sophomore year biology class I knew people but I wasn’t friends with any of them. Honestly it motivated me even more to get work done and do my assignments, and I always finished early and had free time because I wasn’t talking to my friends the whole class. Don’t be alone all day every day but sometimes it’s good to be independent if you have trouble focusing when your friends are around!

I’m going into my senior year as well which is insane! High school seriously goes by so fast. However, I switched to online school my sophomore year because it worked out better for me. I loved watching this! I’m obsessed with your videos! You’re always so genuine & honest. You’re absolutely stunning and I hope you have an amazing senior year!🫶

I'm going into my first year of high School this year but I'm nervous because during middle School literally everyone made fun of me for basically everything and hearing you talk about it and how its just them being insecure like it really helped thanks!

I love these tips. I just graduated this year and they definitely all resonated and are so useful to those coming into high school and progressing through the grades. I can definitely say a very beneficial tool that most people (at least my friends) don't use is a planner for their school work. As Bailey said, planning your week with everything; homework due dates, sports, work, etc, and set aside time for each thing. I do feel that if you slowly chip away at homework each day it helps so much. Being proactive and engaged in your class will be the most beneficial for you, and learning proper ways to study really help as well. These videos are so beneficial and I'm super glad Bailey is sharing (plus she hit so many great points), I just wanted to add a few more for this community because it's something I think will help and something I wish I knew

hey girl! i am a high school teacher (new, i just turned 25 but honestly still feel 18 lol) and i LOVE ur videos anyways lmaooo but what you said about hs teachers scaring the students.... 100% correct lol but like there's nothing else we can do so we hope that they believe our scares! great advice though- wish you were around with your advice when i was in high school 7 years ago!
I STARTED HIGH SCHOOL TODAY AND IT WAS.. it was something for sure
No, but this is literally the best time to post this! Today was my first last day of Junior High. But the catch is that even though we are in 8th grade, we have to be in the high school building. Which means all of us squished in a teeny tiny hallway.(Our HS building is small with 120 - 300 something students.) And lots of new teachers and students.

When you’re a freshman, take geometry honors. It will give your gpa a boost, you get to be with the smart people, and it’s the easiest class I’ve ever taken so far as a high schooler (besides gym, since all you need to do to get a good grade is get moving).
Also join as many clubs as you can, especially if you’re shy that way you can make friends because you’ll see people with the same common interests as you, and as someone who is shy, it’s easy to start conversations with people like that.
I've been watching you since gr.9 and it feels like we're growing up together, it's insane. I love hearing you talk about things like this bc it feels like I'm getting advice from a close friend. I love how genuine you are and I really admire your outlook on life. Thanks Bailey, love ya

i’m a senior in high school right now. it doesn’t matter how popular u might think u are, how much you go out, and party, none of that matters. just do your own thing, maintain close and REAL friendships. make sure to stay on that academic grind, and have extra curricular activities. also, GET A JOB AS SOON AS YOU CAN. i got a job going into my junior year, so i just turned 16. it was HELL. but i learned from it. i stayed there for abt 6 months and then got a new job which ive had for over a year and i LOVE IT. make sure you SAVE your money, but of course keep some aside for spending. high school has been the worst years of my life and i can’t wait for it to be over.

i stopped playing tennis because it put a lot of stress on me to be the best(because my parents were constantly comapring me to other kdis and how theyw ere doing better) and it was putting so much stress on me that i stopped playing, and now my parents r constantly talking abt how i dont do anything, im bad at everything, all their freidns kids do so many things.... etc etc, but they dont realize that theyre the reason i quit in the first place.

Highschool was actually less work for me than middle school. In middle school theyd overassign homework to “prepare” us meanwhile in highschool i never had more than 30mins of homework at night if that. Half the time i didnt even have homework at all
