Evening Brian, Sah, well that was a much needed dose of blue sky and coastal exploring, and a great pinch of history too! 🧐🌊 ❤ Looks like you had a beauty of a day for it too. Thanks so much for the video, have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤ 🗺 🧭
Thanks for watching and for your kind words about the video! 🧭 You're absolutely right, I didn't get any footage of the fort itself this time. 😅 The remains are pretty subtle and tucked away, so they're easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for. 🔍 Next time I'll try to capture some better shots of it. 😉
Happy Sunday and thanks for a most interesting talk and walk in picturesque Burghead. It taught me many things I did not know - one thing is that you have some lovely pine forests close to the sea. I seriously need to visit Scotland one day! In other respects this place have the most lovely beaches and it must have been great for you to visit the place! 2:00 That must be an old pill-box from the war? There must have been a lot of erosion since it was built in haste I figure!
Gorgeous walking beach and wooded area, looks like Noah is in his element there 🐶, interesting history to the place, love how you bring the local history to life 👍 thank you for another great video Brian & Sah, stay well🐭 CMW🐭

Thanks very much, guys. The video was shot last spring which really puts me in the mood for this spring (seems to be nothing but rain here).
Lovely video of the beach and the wood, but not a shot of the site of the Pictish fort you talk about!

Thanks, there are quite a few pill boxes located along this coast and the eastern coast. Thanks for watching.
Great video, very informative and the place looks beautiful!
It's a great location. One of the cleanest beaches I've seen.
