That's rough and hard to take for Roy,....I wish I lived near him to help with the hunt . Good video again,..this is why I subscribed, as I said before. Thanks.
Roy, so sorry for your loss of a beautiful bird. Only folks that partner up with a highly trained furry or feathered companion can appreciate the bond we have with these wonderful critters. Terry USA
He is a true hero I have heard about him that this man can take any bird down at any long range But he was forced not to show that tip on shot kam This is because company can not make profit of making new guns and selling to other hunters In simple words he is a legend
Some know-it-all gave me "advice" at the range yesterday, that I should always shoot the bottom barrel first, blah blah. Looks like the world renowned George Digweed shoots the top barrel first, hmmm, wish I had this video to reference yesterday.
great shooting lads, sorry to here about your goshawk, i lost my 5 year old lurcher blue, attacked by two mastiffs last nov, he was on his lead,on a post, both dogs jumped a gate , blue didnt stand a chance, i got one off ,but the other had locked on his chest, he was put to sleep 3 days later , i was in a state for months, so i know what you went through, losing your goshwk, ive been hunting for 35 years, shotgun and airgun, dont forget my lurcher blue ,we had alot of good nights lamping, keep hunting, cotty, hartcliffe, bristol
I know the video was some years again and kit has got better. But y not dig a stink pit for the foxes. Dig a hole and peg mesh over the top so the foxes can't pull it up. But bate it with what you have chicken rabbit. Hope you get something when you try it.
I had to get revenge on some coyotes this winter. My grandpa passed away 5 years ago and his dog was a large king shepard that was old in age and that was our family guard dog. We had to put grandpas dog down this january because 3 coyotes beat him up and he couldnt recover from his wounds and was far too gone for help. We did end up killing the 3 coyotes that injured our family dog and the next day there were 5 coyotes but they all took off.
What's with the adversion for electronic collars? These are considered standard equipment here in North America. I would never let my dog run off leash without it. Even though my dog is usually obedient, you never know when that instinct to chase will kick in and there is a dangerous situation (usually traffic or trapping gear). The collar has stopped my dog from entering dangerous situations before, and it useful to call her back when out of hearing distance.
Because they’re considered cruel. A well trained dog doesn’t run off, using electric shock collar is lazy cruelty. Learn to train you dog properly and you’ll have no problems
Sorry for your loss. My grandad and I kept bantams and a fox got into the enclosure, killed all 10 and took 1. I was aged 4 and witnessed this the following morning. Since that day I hate foxes. Forget the cuteness...... Kill the fox
it seems that people in britain are "scared" of foxes, badgers etc. Everything that is as big as a marten needs to be killed. Dont take it to personal. Just treat the carnivores as any other wild animal and hunt hem regularly. Hopefully all the "winterfoxes" are used to produce valuable fur. i have never seen a vid on this channel where a fox was skinned. Sorry for Roys hawk though. Great show as alaways.
Giving the foxes a break....big mistake. You see a fox, shoot it. You hear one, shoot it. You smell one, shoot it. SHOOT IT...till the single last one of them is stonedead.

This video began with a vendetta. Fox took his hawk, now he'll take their head.

I'm sorry that poor Roy lost his bird to foxes.
sorry to see that roy.
Foxes ALWAYS used to sniff around our Chicken coop so I used to set my dogs on the bloody pests I got an air rifle now that'll put them off!
Sorry for your loss. My grandad and I kept bantams and a fox got into the enclosure, killed all 10 and took 1. I was aged 4 and witnessed this the following morning. Since that day I hate foxes. Forget the cuteness...... Kill the fox
Am getting a fox just for you tonight buddy guys for you pal
Townies don't realise the arm foxes do
After this war I think they shouldn't ban any fire arms keep the citizens armed and ready in case of war or something like farel animal attacks
I know this loss is detrimental..but you can't SOLEY blame the foxes, eh? Next time build a better cage, mate.
Yes poor roy must be gutted
those guys got no idea on how to shoot foxs lol
Maybe you shouldn't piss the foxes of cos they'll have a go back

For a hunter if you don't speak about the shotchell used and the shooting methdod, you make him loosing time...
Giving the foxes a break....big mistake. You see a fox, shoot it. You hear one, shoot it. You smell one, shoot it. SHOOT IT...till the single last one of them is stonedead.
Ridgline is crap
Imagine losing a bird and making hate threats to foxes 😂😂😂😂
you should make hats out of the foxes and sell em on ebay as "revenge pelt hats"
