I know this video is a year old but incase anyone watches it & needs to know what a good setting to use for Vinyl that’s similar to the heat color changing one (thin & felt backing). I used Thin Leather Setting & more pressure with a fine point blade (my fine point blade is “older” so it’s not as sharp). But it cut mine out nicely. I didn’t have to reload my mat to cut again (or have it cut again, just the one time worked great). So incase anyone is looking for a setting to use on it.
When you select it as a "cut" file, it makes the entire piece a solid color, so you don't see the words. (Refer to her steps where she is deleting the black square...notice the pattern pieces are solid black.)

Hello enjoy your videos. I was wondering where you get the heat activated vinyl from.
You can get heat transfer vinyl (HTV) at michaels, joann, hobby lobby and companies such as tekwrap and rhinestone world.
what type of sand paper did you use. Great looking purse. Wish be luck.
For the cutting of the marine vinyl - did you use the same setting - bonded denim ?
I know this video is older, but did you ever find out the correct settings and pressure to cut out marine vinyl? Thanks.
wouldn't it be better to cut right side up so it doesn't get tacky from the mat?
Can you use Cricut Air 2 of just the maker?
