- The city of Dunfermline is the capital of the kingdom of Fife, but also a former ecclesiastical burgh, a burial place of many Scottish kings, including Robert the Bruce, and the world's leading producer of linen damask, at least in the 19th century. As we are walking through Dunfermline, I will gradually reveal its history to you. We visit Malcolm Canmore's Tower, walk around Pittencrieff Park, visit Dunfermline Abbey and go for a stroll around the city centre. Please come along!

Thanks once again. A lot of information there. Need to watch it again. Great job.
Thank you! 😁
Actually a great revue. Please don't stop
Thank you! 😊
I am part Scot as is my wife we have family in fife and have visited a few times. My trip to The abbey was one of my favorites being a fan of Nigel Tranter who I got to meet. We live in the states so we don't get over as much as we would like. I too have a passion for history and pop off a video on music and other history here and there. Your passion shows and the edits are good. TH-cam is a flooded market but keep going you are doing well. LOL I always say in 500 years maybe we will be famous........@@OnMistyMountains
