      Thank you L. Cross! I actually have a Tutorial that talks about the Last Value. It is the one called "Pump Alarm in Johnson Controls CCT - Part 2 - and Last Value Module". Take a look at it and let me know if that clarifies this last value block. Thanks!

    How do you make an LCT program that only drives a value when a condition is met, but otherwise releases the output?

    • @controlshero
      @controlshero  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello David, sorry for the late reply. That is a good question. I think you can use the MUX (under Selector in LCT) to accomplish this. Connect your True/False condition to the "Mode" input of your MUX, then leave its first input unconnected (basically do not connect anything, that will do the trick!), and on your MUX's second input connect the value you want for your output. Finally connect the output of your MUX to the whatever output you want to command and give it some Priority (15 or lower). When the condition is met the MUX will command the output to the value on its second input. And when the condition is False, the MUX will release the output as there is nothing connected to its first input. Let me know if that makes sense as it's hard to explain with text. If not, go to my website www.controlshero.com and send me a private message. Thanks!

    I don't really know anything about thermostats but in my dorm room they just installed a NSB8BHN240-0 and I can't get it to run the fan or adjust the temperature. How can I override it so I can?

    • @controlshero
      @controlshero  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Ted, sorry for the very late reply. These type of thermostats are custom programmed. So if the technician that installed it and programmed it, was directed to not allow for setpoint adjustments, then you would not be able to do so. If you already tried pushing the up or down arrow and the screen didn't update, then the thermostat setpoint is most likely locked. Here is a link to the full operation manual if you would like to take a look:

    how to check reliability without the block. If you are using global data, the reliability doesn't work

    • @controlshero
      @controlshero  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Arb! Thanks for your question. What do you mean by global data? Are you talking about Network Inputs in CCT?

    • @arbtest3247
      @arbtest3247 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@controlshero you can transfer values between different controllers in Metasys with a global data object. But if you transfer the value of a sensor, you can't transfer the reliability with it. Don't know if you've come across this
