Did you do all inclusive booking? Were the bottles of water at the bar, the food at the pool bar and the drinks on entertainment night in the lobby included in the price? Or just the food at the main restaurant?
Agadir is quite small. I walked from the hotel to the main area where all the shops are. Its about 30 mins. You can take a taxi. The hotel doesn't have a shop that I can recall. At least not for what you're after.
You should not be afraid to criticise where it is justified. This hotel is rated as number 1 on tripadvisor but is it really deserving of that? Maybe its people who gush over mediocre service that has put this hotel to that underserved rank. I'm not fussy at all but when you pay significant money per night, one should expect to get decent service. Your mileage may vary.
Its nothing wrong with concierge and porters they are very responsible and friendly people if you decided to take your own luggage thats up to you but don’t try to have this poor people the sack 🥹🥹👎
If people did their job in a timely manner I wouldn’t have reason to complain. If I did my job in that manner I would get fired. How difficult is it to get a persons bag to their room? It shouldn’t take several hours!
Stayed here back in March. Thought it was a good hotel. Understand what your saying mind you. I would definitely go back.

I didn't bother using the towels that required a deposit. As the rooms were so close, I simply used the towels from my room.

All inclusive. All those items you mention were all included in the price.

It has a shop by the entrance of the hotel but its quite expensive.

Hopefully you got to enjoy some of it at least! But yeah Agadir doesn’t really have a great selection of hotels.
How much is city tax
It wasn't much from what I recall. Tui states €2.50 per person per night, payable on arrival.

I've stayed here a number of times. It's entirely fine for the price point. If you want the extra trimmings go to the riu palace up the beach.
