@@ItsShinzso pikes aren’t bottom feeders they are ambush predators that goes top water so it’s really good to use floats to get them. Both float and bottom rods are good to use not much difference to them one is just stronger.
@ItsShinz your welcome. So how long it took me to farm st Croix I would say a few weeks to a month depending on the size pikes and muskies you get. So overall st Croix is mainly for the cash farm the XP is good but not a lot I would recommend you to have the rotation spots to catch a lot and make a lot.
Honestly I was using overpowered sets up here but I would recommend the Rivertex Zeus 42lb with the thunder spin reel 42lb with 44lb line and leader. Bottom snipers 35lb thunder spin 35lb reel 40lb line 44lb titanium leader and for match rod I would go for Brutus 9’10” 35lb with thunderspin 35lb with line 40lb and titanium 44lb. Hopefully your high enough level to get them.
i dont know if i was lucky but using 7/0 hooks in each spot i got a unique on average around the 5th fish even the first cast while I was leveling my f2p account in the area with the gap between the reeds Edit: and they were usually 40+ my lowest was 16.87kg (37.12lb)
Those are some nice pikes you been catching honestly it’s been a while I been there but this comment tells me there still bitting well so keep up the grind.
I would recommend the bottom snipers 35 pound with the thunder spin 35 reel and the Brutus match rod 35lb with the thunder spin reel 35lb. Or you can try this level 30 guide for st Croix th-cam.com/video/25-rpfHG-yU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Okf-83egJ51Z218L
Sorry to hear that I been there last time like a month ago was still catching trophies and uniques now and then. Will of to try there again to see what’s up.
@@dsuniverse9576 it could just be my bad luck or maybe I was just fishing at the wrong day or something. I was at peak times, however i did mostly use bottom rods. Maybe the float rods are the secret.
The rods I used in this video are pretty overpowered so less XP. The rod sets up I would recommend are Brutus 9’10” 11-35lb match rod with thunderspin 4500 35lb with either 35 or 44lb fluoro line and 55lb titanium leader. Bottom rod would we bottom sniper 11’ 9” 12-35lbs same fluoro line 35 or 44lb and same titanium 55lb.
@dsuniverse9576 I agree ,Michigan is a great money grind..One tip here... I know its so easy and very tempting but I actually skipped catching the Goliath Muskie to keep the 2meter crank lure.. Pikes goes crazy for it
Am assuming that’s the Muskie golem lure that lure is top tier right there caught some of the biggest pikes on it in Michigan but lost it on my main account unfortunately.
@dsuniverse9576 If you havnt caught the Goliath Muskie with it yet , you can obtain it again the same way.. I've never lost mine yet because there's nothing in Michigan that big that would break my line ,so I'm not sure but somebody said this on the Internet
Caught mines way back then. As long as you haven’t caught the monster fish to complete the mission you can lose it over and over getting the lure again. But if you complete the mission and lose it it’s for ever gone.
Caught 4 unis and loads of trophies thanks, the vid really helped
Glad it helped you out Michael get that cash and xp yes sir 😎.
Which one is quicker to be struck by a fishing rod with a float or not?
If your asking what’s the better rod go with bottom fishing but they are both good
@@dsuniverse9576 but why in that content do you use all fishing rods that use floats?

@@dsuniverse9576 yea im 1 level away from the zeus rod, thanks
Your welcome M0rredex those rods should give you the right xp and keep up with the fight of the fish in Michigan.
Hey am i able to use shiners instead of large minnows?
Oh yeah shiners, small minnows they will definitely work just a tad bit slower on bite rates.
@@dsuniverse9576 ok thanks
Your welcome
First Spot worked for me
Nice both spot are very good tbh. The moment one spot is not active just move on to the next one.
Does the time matter
Yeah peak times definitely.
I mean they bite better on the first 30 minutes or it doesn't matter
Anyway the spot is on fire 72 kg in 1 hour in game
Some spots are like that once they stop biting just rotate to a different spot.
Nice keep up the grind and my apology for the late replies been busy streaming.

marker?
I did show markers 4:08 and 8:47
I catch 2 uniques in the second location in one day I don’t know why people switch lol
That’s rare and hard to come by these day nice ones 😅. Honestly I just switched to keep the bites going you know it’s apart of farming/grinding.
@@dsuniverse9576 yeah I hear that I also have another tip, the longer you stay into the days the better the rewards
@@dsuniverse9576 when it’s around Day 7/7 Day 8/8 so you put in atleast 8000 bucks should be fine for those baitcoins
I will keep that in mind I actually never pay much attention to it but now I will thanks for the tip.
What hook size do you use and what type by the way?
Spill set up sir
