@@Pauli2006 Dusk just feels overpriced imo. The DSP gimmick doesn't work for the most part and has some issues even when it does so I disregard it completely. Basically you get the IEMs, a nice case and a crappy thin cable for almost the same price as the Pilgrim. Even if you completely ignore everything except for the sound Pilgrim feels higher quality. Both are popular enough to where you will see used sets on sale soon so you could just wait and get both. All things considered I just don't feel comfortable recommending Dusk over Pilgrim but most people only focus on sound and they're both good there.
Have tried both. Dusk with DSP (or analog + EQ) is better than the Pilgrim. Bass , treble, soundstage and mids are better on the Dusk. Pilgrim is more technical. Dusk is essentially a less technical Pilgrim Noir. Design wise, Dusk also wins because it is far less scratchy. Dusk's faceplate is also made by a more expensive material compared to the Pilgrim.
Pilgrim is mildly interesting. Dusk, no way. Moondrop & Crin are just cashing in on their hype at this point and DSP cable with crap, crap DAC/Amp to power mid-tier IEM. Like srsly wtf 🤷🤦
The dusk is actually good. Some credible members I know said it is peers to the Mega5 est. And to me the mega5 est sounds incredible. Sound is subjective. What sounds bad to you doesn't translate to others.
@@ImAWSMDanny I agree. But that would be definitely a negative if you can find something for $400 and under that sound better than the analog. The hype 4 comes to mind. Some prefer the analog dusk over the hype and a few prefer the hype 4, but barely. Now if you are going to use the dsp default setting and leave it there (not keep changing settings) then it beats out all iems under $500 (opinion by most people who heard that setting). And you don't have to worry about the app or anything else. I would say they are worth it. Even if you are going to use analog only. But if you are willing to eq the analog to the dsp setting then they are a must buy for a budget of $400 and below.
Man, why did I say dong like that tho

Is it worth to get Pilgrim? I have been using Variation for the past 1 year+
It's really good but also Variations is still pretty good itself. Maybe if you find a good used deal?
How does it compare to GAEA??
So far it's basically a less bright Gaea. Fuller sounding and easier to listen to.
No DSP for this guy, The Pilgrim is the better choice for me. Thnaks for the review!
Thanks for tuning in!
looking forward to the reviews (as long as Sunny will model them for us). Agreed, NO to DSP.
DSP makes the fun part unfun
Sunny yes
IEM review no

@@ImAWSMDanny i really love you being honest and leaving that opinion thanks ♥️, well i guess i will buy Aful Performer 8 better than Pilgrim
@@Pauli2006 I do my best, P8 is a great set too. I know there were some decent sales on it recently. Good versatility there. Good luck!

Totally agree

@@h1a8 Yea I think it sounds good as well. That doesn't excuse the lack of a complete and functioning product though.
