The term "Sabaw" (Soup) sometimes used as an adjective that describes something without substance. Because "Sabaw" is specifically the liquid in the Soup not the soup itself. Walang laman, *walang* means (it has no) and *laman* can mean either meat or content.

There is a performance of Uhaw in the wish bus which I believe is what MV is projecting in the parody. I believe the context of this parody is his comment a few weeks back about the state of content in social media nowadays where "influencers" no longer cares on what they post as long as it will get them likes and followers. MV obviously provides quality content full of wit and talent unlike what we moslty see in social media nowadays

Michael V. started his show business as a rapper before going into comedy. But like most rappers here in the Philippines, they are GOOD singers as well. Singers in the Philippines are versatile and does not stay in one genre :)

There’s this so-called “Motivational Coach” guy named Rendon Labador who keeps on gatekeeping, criticizing, & shaming other influencers and forcing himself to be involved in any issues that has nothing to do with him just to become a trend and to maintain his “relevance” to the community. Apparently, he also said something negative about Michael V which gained negative feedbacks. Coincidentally, he made a parody about things like these so people are assuming that this song is for him.

In my opinion, the "waste" bus can be interpreted multiple ways. It can be that instead of a transport bus repurposed as a music studio, a garbage truck is use instead. It can also be derivative of the meaning of the song itself; a form of desecration. He's trying to undermine the ego investments of self and others especially with the social commentary like a sacred cow, humbling them to bring out a better version of themselves.
Waste it could be SAYANG or SINAYANG.

Hello from Calgary. Oh wow is actually a phrase that suggests an underhanded compliment. Like u sure someone is successful but ok whatever if that makes them happy but not for me. So really it undermines the happiness or achievement someone is experiencing. It came from the phrase “eh di wow” meaning ur pretending to be impressed by soemone’s achievement just to please that person though u both know for a fact that ur not impressed by it. Saying eh di wow is giving someone half baked compliment just to end the conversation basically. Bitoy is sooo smart for cooking something like this as a smart and intelligent response and sarcasm to rendon who mocked bitoy on his video saying bitoy is an expired actor who is no longer relevant.

Sabaw is not actually direct translation of soup, but it's a colloquial term for a person not thinking straight, not in his/her right mind, mind is wandering, or something like that (e.g. when a person wakes up or when a person is tired and he/she makes a lot of mistakes -- they call that person sabaw). Lutang is another common colloquial term for sabaw.
That’s the beauty of filipino language. The meaning changes depending on the context.
