possibly, the shower rooms had been a mystery for me since reopening. So happy to be able to use it now 🤣 Even though it was my home airport meaning I could've showered at home. It comes in handy. I remember early 2023, my first flight was VA business to Bali. It was 40c plus in ADL and I was sweating my ass off walking from my home to the bus stop (refused to spend AU$16 for uber🤣 didn't live far). That shower when I got into the lounge was the best ever.

Another great trip report Jayden and lucky you had 3 rounds of food in the lounge as there wasn't much to fill the gap during the flight! Legroom looks good, but probably not as good as to what your mate scored in business class. Keep posting and who knows, we may see you on an international flight shortly, fingers crossed!

On the new REX 737 from Virgin Australia, if you pay for Promo price on their extra legroom seats (ex VA - Economy X) you only pay $15 extra whereas Virgin will charge you roughly $40 for the extra legroom seats!

I laughed when you said you like to annoy the staff at the check-in counter and have them do everything for you...not even a voice inflection change when you said it, like it was an everyday thing. To sum up a few of Jayden's passions in life - fizzy alcoholic beverages, sweets and....coat hooks. 😎 Nice food you had, but you took away all the flavor from your awesome beef salad by eliminating coriander... 😁 Did you and your bf fly separately because you were doing an economy flight review, or did he just upgrade? Love the cloudscapes as you flew. By the way, is there anything to be done about the glare from the cabin lighting vs. the night time window view (on landing)? Adelaide and Canberra have the prettiest and most modern airports in Australia IMO, Sydney t1 and 3 are nice too, T2 mehhh. No no you were wrong Britt! Taking out the coriander means I was able to taste to good Aussie beef flavours😂 I upgraded mr George because he's never really flown business or first even though he probably is richer than me 😂 There was no seat left I was gave him that seat. I was happy with Economy x though, extra legroom and no seat mate. There's nothing much I could do with the cabin lights reflection at night, wearing dark might help haha. In Australia, CASA doesn't require airlines to dim cabin lights for takeoff and landing whereas FAA in the US and many other authorities worldwide have that requirement! Australia is so lax, to give you an idea, (a) no need to dim lights during takeoff/landing (b) non-pax can enter airside to pick-up/farewell friends and family at the boarding gate (c) you can bring liquid over 100mL through the security. That's why in Adelaide for example, if you're leaving the country, after the domestic security, you need to do another round of international security. There you'll need to dispose liquid in containers bigger than 100mL Thanks Britt, have a good day!

depends on the country. Aussie airlines don’t need to do that because CASA doesn’t say so. I was surprised when I flew a US carrier for the first time because most airlines around the world require passengers to open their windows for takeoff and landing, but in USA, airlines don’t require that because FAA doesn’t say so :)

absolutely, provided that testing is free if required, and no quarantine at all. Remember the HK-Singapore bubble that didn't happen last year, if it did and I was in HK, I wouldn't have gone because testing wouldn't have been free and they charge a lot!!

The cabin lights were on for landing, correct me if I am wrong but I am quite shore that they are meant to be dimmed for Takeoff and Landing!
