The stick twirl at the end is the epitome of flair. Had i known earlier that you had this guitar i would have been there to check it out. Maybe next week i can make the pilgrimage from Seagrove. I have been wanting to see one in person.
Awesome job Johnathon! My brother and I climbed over a 10 foot high barbed wired fence, snuck past security and hid a few feet from Waylon's tour bus. When Wayon finished his first of two sold out shows that day/night we ran up and told him how great he was and shook his sweaty hand. haha My brother and I felt bad because we scared the bleep out of him. His crew got in trouble and gave us hell. Then they came out of Waylon's tour bus and they said, Waylon said, if they are that big of fans to climb over a 10 foot barbed wire fence to meet me, let them watch my 2nd show. The crew escorted us to a spot and said, if the venue security gives you any crap, tell them to come see us and we will take care of it. haha
I have a cody wrapped Waylon telecaster from 2011? Whats that make mine worth? Since fender sells these for over 5k. Mine has nocaster custom shop pickups, real 1960s plate, knobs, and wiring. All parts fender neck.
Something tells me this one would not do as well as nitro if done to "heavy aged" custom shop standards. Jonathan mentioned the odor of the original. How would you then describe the 'aged' smell of old leather? My wife........"Honey, you have to keep that one in the garage or the barn......."
@johnsmith-ug5tp It's 2 pieces of wood I bought my first tele in 72 for 279$ I have built 4 better than custom shop Teles for in-between 1200 & 1500. Yes I've owned custom shop built trash.
@@CasinoGuitarsBaxter i sent you, albeit ages ago, that club/bar called Baxters here in NZ in AKL. You need to get over here, checkout the scenary but i suppose your summer is coming now. Would have made sense in your winter, can claim it on tax "research overseas markets" yaya
That's some killer playing.
Brings back some great memories, awesome playing Hoss
I've loved that guitar since I was a kid watching the dukes of hazard!
Is that where it’s from?
We loved her as well!
THATS how you sell an expensive guitar! Great stuff and hope to see more of this type of video. Your store is on my bucket list of shops to visit!
Thanks a ton and thrilled you liked it!
That's the biggest smile I've ever seen on Baxter! Fantastic guitar guys!
I had way too much fun on this one:) Thank you as well Jack!
I want this. The guitar and the skill.
I want to see more of y'all demoing.
Thank you Adam, we will see what we can do and thanks a ton for watching!
Baxter on the drums! Ya just can't help but smile when playing the one and only Waylon Jennings! Great stuff guys! 😁
I didn’t notice that!!
Cheers from NZ 😎🎸🤘
Thank you John...I had a blast hitting those things!
You're welcome and it showed :)@@CasinoGuitars

👍@@guitarjonathan
Great story!
Thanks!@@CasinoGuitars
Damn you guys are getting fancy as hell with these new videos!
Super fancy 😎
Some might say... SASSY.
And having some real fun!
If I am ever able to purchase a leather bound, master built, telecaster things have gone horribly right.
😂
I love that:)
Somehow a phaser just makes it all right.
Agreed!
Just a good ole boys!
Never meaning no harm…
Cue Daisy Duke with those nice shorts and legs that apparently were insured for a million dollars back then 😎
All the way!
All stars! Joe, Roland J, J Rob, Baxter. Dope video yaw
I thought that was Bax...
So dope. Thank yaw
Wow and I thought the Merle Haggard Tuff Dog telly was expensive. I’d love to own either one though
Im in the same boat:)
So sick
Agreed and thank you!
Badass.
Thank you!
Jonathan did a fantastic job! 🤟 Looks this telly is selling for $25,000 at most legit music stores. Way out of my reach lol
Right on and thank you!
"On a Greyhound Bus,I'm travelin' this mornin'.....". Keep on pickin ' Cowkidz
Cowjazz....
Yes!
The holiest of holies!
Indeed:)
Willie Waylon and Jon
Sounds like something off of the Stones Some Girls album, runaway-runaway-runaway-run? Just my Imagination! yes/no?
Heck yes!
@@CasinoGuitars Might be their "beast" album ever! Beast of Burden that is. LoL-in' out loud!
man played country with Mac Demarco tone
Yee Haw!
Sean crosses his legs like the type of dude that plays a BC Rich
hmmmmm...I hate to say I don't agree but...ye, you got him!
How do i get my hands on one of these guitars
Pretty good, but do you think Hank would have done it this way?
😂 I don’t think Hank did it this way.
@@guitarjonathan but pretty damn close to how Waylon done it
viedeo good
Thank you:)

When I first purchased it. It was a Maroon 2011 American body with a 90s fender neck
Just wondering if that leather over nitro, or leather over poly. It must be nitro, overwise the tone would suck.
Haha:) We were actually wondering if there was even a guitar under there at first. The leather is so soft and sweet:)
You guys aren't up this early are you? Oh right, your on the east coast.....
I’m in NZ. It’s early here all the time for overseas content 😎
We never sleep:)
Good point. I'll consider myself a bit of a whiner today lol.@@PeterMoore350
@@johnstillwell4353haha all good bro. Chur.

Look at you Chicken Picken! Cluck Cluck!🤘
I think the $25K is very pricey, I went the Waylon fender phaser pedal route instead, much more affordable :)
The sensible decision. 😊
100% more sensible:) I think you need the phaser pedal wrapped in leather:)
What effects is that ?
Super telecaster, but not worth 5k. It's the best playing I've seen on this channel. Johnny got tone!
Why not? A production vintage tele is 2,500 and a custom shop tele is 5,000.
@johnsmith-ug5tp It's 2 pieces of wood I bought my first tele in 72 for 279$ I have built 4 better than custom shop Teles for in-between 1200 & 1500. Yes I've owned custom shop built trash.
@johnsmith-ug5tp really nice dogs John
Thank you Arthur, Johnny is a mean playing machine...and pretty as well:) Thanks for watching and sharing
Are you sure Hank done it this way?
100% questioning as well:)
I can buy 2 General Lees for that.
But does that come with the phaser?
Would it not be better if the cover were made of Kevlar, making it bullet proof? One must prepare for all possible outcomes.
It's only fitting that this guitar should have the cost equivalent of a six packs of cigarettes per day habit for a month.
Jennings himself had "only 5" of those guitars...
let's see then pay off the house...or get the new leatherbound masterbilt Waylon Tele.....decisions...decisions
😂😂😂
The guitar....:)
father son haircuts ?
:)
Sounds great but I hat the video effect.
Don't hate on the video effect...we were using an old camera so we had some issues with the film and a bit of water...:)
Not for $25K...
She ain't cheap...that's for sure:)
The guy that plays it might be great but that's one ugly guitar IMO
Blasphemy:) Thanks for watching and sharing!
Amplifer (fireside) chats with Sean & Jonathan....cool
No campfire fake or not ? Hehe 🤣👠🤣😂
Ooh i hit my gf’s shoe emoji hehe
:) Thank you!
Is there anything Baxter can't play.😅
Cello
I am just happy they invited me over to have some fun:)
