As a Toledoan the whole “what the heck is a Mud Hen?” question comes up a lot. A mud hen is a marsh bird with short wings and long legs that inhabits swamps or marshes. Such birds have been known as marsh hens, rails, coots, or mud hens. Toledo used to be a swampland long ago and you can see it in some of the parks around the area.

Mighty I got called up to AAA right after the ASG just like you did. I only played around 15 games with AAA and then got called up to Majors
