Then I begin to unload and re-split the chunks my buddy made for his intended sale - that isn’t going to happen ‘cause he doesn’t have the time or space to season it properly…!

We had some warm weather but it’s gone now! Rachel and I just snagged some free red oak with more to come. Free is the best price!

It was really warm here today. But the wind has been blowing hard all week!!! I just added a piece of equipment to my channel today. A new to me conveyor.
We paid the price here yesterday. Driving rain and high winds! Thank goodness the wood yard is at the top of a swale in the rear of my property!

The Norway isn’t good for smoking, however the silver & sugar maples are! So I keep the Norway aside for firepits, fireplaces, etc…. Thanks for watching!!

Great idea, Jeff! I get compliments and praise all the time from my customers who use my wood 🪵 for smoking! They also send me photos of their food creations! If you check back to video 013 you will see that I shared pork products as made by one of my most recent Smoking Wood Customers, Arthur! Maybe I will do a future video and share all of the culinary creations made by my customers who use my wood!? I kinda like 👍 that idea💡

I just got some free norway Maple. How long will it take to get it to Under 20%
Depending on the size of your splits, I’d say 4-6 months. The smaller cross sections season faster, of course! Thanks for watching…
