Then i have to plot load deflection curve for selected nodes of interest.
To perform transient analysis in ansys APDL, by mode superposition method, first you have to run for modal analysis, then only you can do the transient analysis.
how can I get the mode participation factor for transient analysis? I am applying a sinusoidal load at the free end f(t)=8000sin(30t) where t=0:1/100:1.

use *dim command to create a blank array in ansys and call the values from excel using *vread command
