Give prime Péter Cech the ball and I’m sure a 35 years old Ozil can still pressure the ball off his feet, but that doesn’t mean he is not a good GK. Same thing with Leno, he may be shaky with the ball at his feet but he is still an exceptional keeper.

Willian is more of a forward or winger than a creative midfielder, Defo not his gig and defo not the solution, of course Partey and if Ceballos is returning i think we are looking quite good with our squad for now considering our finances and if our new defenders perform how we all hope. We are entering season with Torreira and Guendouzi clearly on the way out. Mari, Cedric, Saliba and Gabriel address the defense. Auba and Willian the attack. The midfield remains the greatest concern and where there shall be a complete lack of depth. We all have to hope Xhaka does not get any knock this season at all, 2nd most important player on squad for Arteta after Auba. The 6 and 8s atm are Xhaka, Elneny, Willock and Maitland-Niles. Any one of Partey or Aouar are must buys. I really would rather get Soumare from Lille. Watched him a lot now and he can be the next Vieria, not made of glass like Diaby was. At 21 perfect to play a bench role to Xhaka right now. I suspect the club will go hard for Partey though and fail to bite the bullet and buy Ceballos. But the midfield is our big concern heading into new season
