Well what a way to start the season then. The skipper Auba (who else) scored a beauty and the winning pen as we beat champions Liverpool to lift our 16th community shield. Liverpool were pinning us back for a majority of the game but we stood form until Minamino scored with about 15 minutes left on the clock. I thought AMN ( PLEASE Arsenal don't sell him) was superb and so were Tierney and Elneny who surprisingly had a decent game. Holding looked shaky, Cedric was poor when he came on and Martinez was safe hands as usual. So yeah it's a lovely way to start the season and I hope this is a sign of things to come. COYG!!!!

As a Liverpool fan I will say fair play Arsenal looked more dangerous first half, and then didn't collapse when Taki scored the equalizer and actually were on the front foot by the time the game ended. See you in a couple of weeks at Anfield though, think we'll have Trent, Hendo and a new #6 by then ;)
