Wow....I’m watching this remembering that we started nursing school around the same time in 2019. I just got done with preceptorship in the ICU and my pinning ceremony is in 10 days. Preceptorship was a BEAST! Had to take the Exit HESI, do a 3-day mandatory NCLEX prep course, while balancing in eight 12-hr shifts with my preceptor nurse, AND doing a mental health and OB lab, AND fitting in weekly assignments and a final paper.....all in the month of April! But I made it thru and graduation is around the corner! Can’t wait til you graduate and prep for the NCLEX. Best wishes☺️☺️☺️

Right now I’m doing Med Surg & Mental Health in my 2nd semester of my ADN program! :) We have 16 week semesters and usually do 1 ms and 1 mh lecture a week, plus lab and clinical. First 8 weeks was med surg clinical and these last 8 weeks are mental health. :)

Hi Madi! Does your school post the PowerPoints that they use for lecture? There is an easier way to make your notes like the way you do. I take my notes the exact same way.

I’m so excited I start my nursing program in June but what I’m not excited about is the fact that my school we can’t have lashes (both strip & extensions), no nails, no nail polish, no jewelry including earrings 🥲🥲 I’m going to feel so boyish with no lashes & nails.

Wait so they let you wear jewelry and have mail polish?? My program is so strict. No ponytails, no jewelry except for a wedding band, and no nail polish unless it’s clear
i was thinking the same thing! we cant even use apple watches, we have to have just a traditional watch. mines like a five dollar walmart one lol.
