Do not settle for one of those cookie cutter houses 45 minutes outside of Nashville. Extend your lease/go month-to-month for a little while until you find something you love.
Don’t feel pressure that you are running out of time and end up choosing a home you don’t really like, doing a month to month on your current apartment is a good idea gives you guys more time and less pressure until you find the right one, you guys will know when its the ONE cuz when you know you know 🏡😉
appreciate ya!! yeah month to month is extremely expensive so we might have to just start another lease somewhere and maybe cut it short if something pops up!
I think it’s best to buy a previously used house (not too expensive) and while living there make plans to build your home just like you guys want. Once built and moved in you guys can rent the other house.
Do not put so much pressure on yourselves, believe you me you will know which house will be your as soon as you find it, seem to be most everyone experience that as soon as they walk into there future or forever home you just feel it and you'll know it, it will feel right and you'll say this is it. Well actually that has been the reaction with friends and family with their first homes. Hopefully soon, y'all will find your home, if you're in a least try finding a month to month type of deal while or until you find your forever home. Who knows you can buy land and have your home built to your liking. You'll find your home in due time . Enjoying the videos. Peace and love.
my 2 cents, instead of continuously looking at it as you are purchasing your forever home which puts a lot of pressure on it, consider it a shorter term purchase/investment. You don't have a true idea of what you are going to actually want. You've lived in an apartment and in a city space with roommates for so long that it will be different once you have your own actual space. You may want more space between houses. You may want something that isn't so cookie cutter. You may want something that isn't so new with the better bones. It's impossible to know until you are in it. Maybe you are buying your first rental property?? Maybe you are actually buying your forever home! But, removing that pressure may help. We did and the house we got wasn't anything we thought we'd get, however, after 6 years and some little changes we are happy we shifted our mindset in order to land here.
Ive had a similar experience rushing to find a house and after several house tours none worked out. Many we did not like and others we put an offer, but someone else got it. So we ended up moving into a family members home for a month, but in that month we found the house and moved in. Looking back we’re glad those other houses didn’t work out because this one is located in a better neighborhood and closer to downtown. Definitely needed a lot of work, but for the cost we bought it and the value we could sell it in the future is worth it.
Maybe look at older neighborhoods. The houses wont be built on top of each other, and it would be easier to find a place without an HOA. In fact, the smart play might be to lower your criteria and look at houses in the 1200 sq/ft range. You can easily start a family in a house like that and then upgrade to something bigger later on. Small starter homes also sell quicker than any of these larger homes you've been looking at. You could, perhaps, keep that house as a rental if you've gained enough equity in it by the time you decide to move. I just think a smaller house gives you more flexibility later on. Real estate in and around the Nashville area will continue to go up, even if the economy takes a dump. You might have to wait five years for it to recover, but I honestly think Nashville will continue to grow like wildfire as word continues to get out. Nashville is a really hot city right now, and I just don't see that ebbing anytime soon.
I have seen where some YTers have rented a house temporarily while they are in the process of getting a house. It is either because the house they are getting isn't ready yet, or to test out what they like/don't like before making a final house buying decision. Congratulations to your brother and his bride. 🥂💞💐 Also important to know if it is a HOA community or not since some HOAs are problematic.
@@itsbobbymares Oh and I will also mention, since you remarked about the singular, flat light fixture in the bedroom ceilings a few times. That is just the generic lighting they do in newer home builds. Yet if it is anything like I have seen with other newer home builds, if you were to purchase the house, then you would be able to bring in an electrician to change out the lighting to something more to yours and Isabelle's liking once the deal closes and you go to move in.
So envious of how far your money goes when it comes to houses in the US. I could confidently say there’s no house in the whole of the UK for those prices that are THAT beautiful. Incredible. Good luck finding your home 🩷
I would stay in Williamson county. If you don’t mind rural living, I would check out Fairview. It’s about 25 minutes from Franklin and still in Williamson county. They also plan on completely developing Fairview in the next few years. You get more bang for your buck out there and the houses aren’t on top of each other. Love the content, hope yall find a house soon!
Dont settle because you are in a rush. Get yourself a realtor and go visit a bunch of already built houses. Each time I've bought a house I looked at probably over 30 houses before I found the one that was what we were looking for.
You’re not looking for a forever home right? If not, I think you should go for a smaller home without so much excess space and then invest in your forever home later on. You can keep your first as a rental. Good luck!
I HOPE YOU FIND THE RIGHT HOUSE YOU WILL KNOW WHEN YOU SEE IT IM EXCITED FOR YOU BOTH TO ME THESE HOUSES ARE NOT THAT GREAT BUT UP TO YOU BE HAPPY DO YOU. THANKS FOR TAKING US ON YOUR JOURNEY. WE GOTTA SAY IT AGAIN I LOVE ISABELLE SHE IS THE BEST. SO HAPPY TO SEE HOW MUCH THE FRIEND GROUP GROWN. LOVE YOU TOO BOBBY.
It’s ok, take your time. If necessary talk to your landlord and go month to month or ask for a 6 month lease. ✌️ My husband and I duck other Jeeps, we got our first one a few months ago 😊
I don’t think the basic new build is your vibe at all. You need a cool, older place with lots of character and charm. It might need a bit of work, but at least you’ll be able to put your own stamp on it.
Keep looking you will find the right home for you two and future family. Take the pressure off and lease monthly or get an RV and live in that until you find your home and then travel with it later to create memories with your new bride and future family. 🤩🥰
You guys will definitely find your home that you are looking for 💗 just be patient and stay hopeful. If worse comes to worse see if there is at all a possibility your landlord will do a month to month 😬🤞🏻
Thanks for taking us along on your journey! I feel your pressure, but, Remember Bobby, God has the best timing! Never forget how He Provided your perfect wife at the perfect time in life as you continued to seek Him! Don’t stress about the timing and rush into or settle for something that is less than God’s Best! Keep trusting Him through the process! He will open the right door at the right time! Ps. You don’t have kids NOW, but you might plan towards that direction so that, come time, you’re not scrambling to move AGAIN! It could be sooner than you expect, and even if it isn’t in the next year or two, having to move AGAIN might be a lot with purchasing a house. If you’re not thinking more to be in this next house long term, maybe just keep renting for now? It will give you more time to find the house you really want to settle down in with kids.😊🙏🏽 I love that you’re not just looking for a house, but a home!💝🙏🏽💯😊
It’s hard bc everywhere surrounding nashville is pretty cookie cutter and relatively conservative. I’m not sure the budget but the Berry Hill area of Nashville has more character in my opinion. Donelson is also closer to Nashville and kind of like east of east nashville maybe 15 min from East Nashville. It may have some good options though it’s not as boujee as south of Nashville where you are looking. I feel like it’s growing exponentially. Franklin and Brentwood are pretty much the same , wealthier area , quite conservative. Do not even consider Lebanon lmao that is so far from your vibe (long time subscriber here, I started watching kian and jc like 14 years ago) I grew up in Hendersonville! I loved it and it’s about 25 min from Nashville unless traffic is crazy which it sometimes can be then it’s a bit more of a drive. Hope you find what you’re looking for !
What’s the reason for not renewing the lease for another 6 months to a year? That’s just ripples of time for your lifetime together! No need to rush!! Much love, pray for Gods wisdom in the decision making 💛
Just advice... look into that company who built the first house. They have bad reviews and have gone through a lawsuit for fraud. Big companies that are national and build neighborhoods like that usually create low quality homes with lots of future issues. Give your money to a more local builder.
They look like good investment properties that you could turn into rentals especially if you guys may want to leave TN! I wonder what area is this? Antioch?
Ima be honest with u. I dont like them, I dont like the neighborhood or the yards. I like the other far houses where the antique store was at. Those nice. P.s dont rush..maybe use the last month to look for another apartment. So u have a 6month leas to breath
I didn't like either of those houses, and what's with the 1 tiny light in the middle of the room. I think maybe the houses your looking at are a bit big for your needs, there is only the 2 of you so look at smaller houses with less bedrooms.
These houses are definitely overpriced.. but then again I think it’s because of the economy but personally I wouldnt buy those cookie cutter houses because you’re paying more for what their worth plus if your thinking about long term as an home asset there’s no privacy and the area of land is small. However I think those homes are like a good starter home but it’s definitely not worth the price they’re asking… good luck tho 🙏🏾🙌🏾🎉
His wife is cute and all, but am I the only one who feels like he’s trying to push her onto us? She doesn’t seem to like being on camera, I miss when his videos consisted of other things besides his dating life.

month to month is expensive now adays, it's tough!!
@@itsbobbymares buying the wrong house would be worse.
The cookie cutter houses aren't that bad, I don't mind them. They usually are a lot more affordable than other properties
Usually these newer houses are easier to look after and have less maintenance and less things you need to do with them
Stop with the negativity. The newer houses are great and you need to get an inspector if you're trepidatious in getting a new build.
Praying that God leads y’all to the perfect house!! 🤍
appreciate ya!!!!

Can you do a video looking in a more "historic district" like older brick homes ? That may be closer to the city
good idea!

interesting!!! and congrats!!!
Love the video my mom's side of the family is from the Nashville TN area I love Tennessee
yesss it's the greatest!!
I work in real estate. I'm wondering if those homes closer together are in an HOA, and the space in the center is just a community park.
Or the homes are too new and no one has put fences in yet lmao
yeaaaah not too sure!! pretty interesting!
