I already have the lowest price or other wise I would be calling. My parents are on our plan we only pay about $116 for 4 phones. We get military and other discounts. I also have the verizon credit card that i earn reward points that can be used to pay on your cellphone bill

Always wanted to buy there. Our kids love it, too. They were still teens when we were there and they grew to love the desert vibe, too! Aaahhh!!! Can’t wait! 🙌

Oh my goodness!!! Unplugging things!!!! One of the best things I ever did!! I used to travel for my job and was actually away from home most of the time. Once when I left, I unplugged things like TV (which I've only had for a few months in my whole adult life), VCR (those were the days), washer and dryer, etc... big things. My water bill went down 76%! I was WOWED!! I decided to see if I could get it any lower, so the next time I left on an assignment, I unplugged everything but the fridge. I unplugged lamps, alarm clock (again, those were the days), coffee pot, microwave... everything! I didn't unplug the stove...yet. The electric bill went down another 11%. Then I started thinking that the stove had a large plug, so it took a lot of electricity. I wouldn't pull it out from the wall to plug and unplug it. It dawned on me... this house was over 125 years old... and had a breaker box in the kitchen. All I had to do was turn it off at the breaker box and turn it on when I was ready to cook. That lowered the bill again , but I never calculated the percentage. One year in July, when days are very long, I decided not to turn on lights. I had no children or pets at home, so it was safe to light a couple of candles in whatever room I was in for the couple of hours I'd still be up in the evening. It was an experiment. My electricity bill that month was $13. I'd never had a bill that low!!! I don't do that anymore, but I do turn the whole breaker box off for an hour or 2 every day. Electricity is lowered!! I still keep a lot unplugged till I need to use something. Just thought I'd share... 😊. I get the least expensive phone I can, that has the features I need, and always pay up front for it, so my monthly bills only reflect usage. The last time I did this, there was a deal available where I got 2 phone lines for a semi-low price. It includes ALL fees and taxes, and it's unlimited everything. Every time I try to find a cheaper plan, I find I already have the cheapest plan, except for discount plans, like Cricket or Mint mobile. Those plans don't have anywhere near the unlimited amount of data I use.... so I stick with my plan. It's not even offered any more, but I'm grandfathered in. I also save $10 a month by having it auto-drafted out of checking. My plan is with T-Mobile. I call at times to try to get my bill lowered. Every time they look, I already have the lowest cost plan... so I keep it. I also compare other companies, and they never come anywhere near what I pay... again, so I stick with them.
I use Mint Mobile super cheap and only one bill for the year. I now pay for one phone what I was paying ATT for two people a month. Great tip to help save!
Yes! Mint and Cricket and those companies are awesome!! I had Metro back in the day and I loved it! I had to switch when I started traveling. They only had service in my city back then! Going waaaaay back! 😂
I am on Boost Mobile, my bill is $35. Fits my budget perfectly, but I will definitely pass this on to my sister. A family that saves together, wins together. Trying to get her on the train 🐝

Yes i definitely need to lower my phone bill.😂 My wife needs to get a new phone she broke her screen. She gets a go phone so she buys a cheap one and then uses this app called 2nd line to have texting free as she hates actually talking on the phone. It connects to the wireless internet so she has absolutely no phone bill. She only turns on the phone service if im out of the country so we can talk. 😂
@@2SisterBees my wife is very cheap in a good way. For one she is close to her 99 year old grandmother who is a great depression survivor so she paid attention to a lot of her life hacks. I told her to have her own you tube channel but she is very shy so 😂 but it would be fun to see her squirrel around. She also spent 5 years of her life homeless in various places including Montana and Nevada so she is a survivalist as well. I'm retired from the Spanish Army from my youth so I have my own survival training but she beats me hands down 😂 I wish she was less shy she is so random 😆 once I saw she was washing clothes in a bucket and she said she saw it on some you tube channel about living in the Tudor period. A day in our life 😂

I can't even hear the snoring. I am sure it is much louder to you but the microphone isn’t picking it up. My son and I have a family plan for our cell phones. He lives on my land out in the boonies and has to have hot spot capabilities. I don't understand it, but he called last month and got things adjusted to what he needs, and unlimited data on both our lines for $1 more than what I had been paying. So more data and hot spot for $1. Is that a savings?😅 The only phone company that works out there is AT&T.... and I remember standing outside with my Nokia brick phone on the highest place in the yard (an old ant hill) and praying for 2 bars.😂 So feeling blessed now.

I hope this is OK to suggest...I know you always have your Big Give challenge, and I just learned of a young boy in North Carolina whose family is in need of serious help...his name is Mason Dark and he is currently suffering 3rd degree burns on 75% of his body after trying to complete a TikTok challenge. He will be in the burn unit for the next 6 months. His grandmother set up a GoFundMe page for Mason Dark -UNC burn unit. I read the story just a few moments ago and it automatically made me think of the Big Give challenge
On the phone front- I have a TracFone. I pay $120 a YEAR on it. I don't get unlimited texts or data, but I don't really use that much data anyway. As for texts, if I start running low I can buy 1000 more for around $10. (And the minutes/ texts carryover each year) I don't know if this would work for everyone and their situation- but it works for me. I've only ever had a TracFone and I'm always so surprised at how much other people are paying for their phones and monthly plans. Again, I think it depends on everyone's personal situation, but this has always worked for me. (I do still also have a landline phone connected to my internet bill- so obviously if your cell phone is your only phone, you might need something more than a TracFone) Another thing, my aunt who was in Assisted Living until she died last year- I got her a Consumer Cellular phone. I want to say it was $30 for the phone and then around $21 a month for unlimited minutes. This was just a flip phone- but that was all she needed and she got to talk to as many people she wanted to for as long as she wanted to until she died. My mom uses her phone now, but she only keeps it on her for emergencies. I didn't look any deeper into Consumer Cellular phones beyond the bare minimum that my aunt needed. But it might be worth checking out. They are marketed to seniors, but I don't know that you HAVE to be a senior to have one. I got her a flip phone- but I think I remember seeing smartphones available on the plan as well.

My cellphone is pretty cheap for me and my son, so I'll stay with that. Now I have to call my car insurance, I think they raised my rate; I'm also working on refinancing my car note.

I went to Best Buy for the Google Pixel 6, new, is under $500. I got one for $249. Someone bought it then returned it. I love this phone. I used Samsung for years and this phone is similar. I already had my Google account. ❤

Yes i definitely need to lower my phone bill.😂 My wife needs to get a new phone she broke her screen. She gets a go phone so she buys a cheap one and then uses this app called 2nd line to have texting free as she hates actually talking on the phone. It connects to the wireless internet so she has absolutely no phone bill. She only turns on the phone service if im out of the country so we can talk. 😂

@@2SisterBees my wife is very cheap in a good way. For one she is close to her 99 year old grandmother who is a great depression survivor so she paid attention to a lot of her life hacks. I told her to have her own you tube channel but she is very shy so 😂 but it would be fun to see her squirrel around. She also spent 5 years of her life homeless in various places including Montana and Nevada so she is a survivalist as well. I'm retired from the Spanish Army from my youth so I have my own survival training but she beats me hands down 😂 I wish she was less shy she is so random 😆 once I saw she was washing clothes in a bucket and she said she saw it on some you tube channel about living in the Tudor period. A day in our life 😂

I use my debit card to pay for everything and then I take cash back from envelopes. The envelopes keep me from overspending on each category. I know how much is in each one and it’s my limit! 🙌

My son and I have a family plan for our cell phones. He lives on my land out in the boonies and has to have hot spot capabilities. I don't understand it, but he called last month and got things adjusted to what he needs, and unlimited data on both our lines for $1 more than what I had been paying. So more data and hot spot for $1. Is that a savings?😅 The only phone company that works out there is AT&T.... and I remember standing outside with my Nokia brick phone on the highest place in the yard (an old ant hill) and praying for 2 bars.😂 So feeling blessed now.

I hope this is OK to suggest...I know you always have your Big Give challenge, and I just learned of a young boy in North Carolina whose family is in need of serious help...his name is Mason Dark and he is currently suffering 3rd degree burns on 75% of his body after trying to complete a TikTok challenge. He will be in the burn unit for the next 6 months. His grandmother set up a GoFundMe page for Mason Dark -UNC burn unit. I read the story just a few moments ago and it automatically made me think of the Big Give challenge

On the phone front- I have a TracFone. I pay $120 a YEAR on it. I don't get unlimited texts or data, but I don't really use that much data anyway. As for texts, if I start running low I can buy 1000 more for around $10. (And the minutes/ texts carryover each year) I don't know if this would work for everyone and their situation- but it works for me. I've only ever had a TracFone and I'm always so surprised at how much other people are paying for their phones and monthly plans. Again, I think it depends on everyone's personal situation, but this has always worked for me. (I do still also have a landline phone connected to my internet bill- so obviously if your cell phone is your only phone, you might need something more than a TracFone)
Another thing, my aunt who was in Assisted Living until she died last year- I got her a Consumer Cellular phone. I want to say it was $30 for the phone and then around $21 a month for unlimited minutes. This was just a flip phone- but that was all she needed and she got to talk to as many people she wanted to for as long as she wanted to until she died. My mom uses her phone now, but she only keeps it on her for emergencies. I didn't look any deeper into Consumer Cellular phones beyond the bare minimum that my aunt needed. But it might be worth checking out. They are marketed to seniors, but I don't know that you HAVE to be a senior to have one. I got her a flip phone- but I think I remember seeing smartphones available on the plan as well.
