I think the only "era" valorant has ever had was the OPTIC vs LOUD era where it was only either of those teams facing off against each other, since that lasted for a whole year.

PRX is the new Sentinel of APAC, doesn't care about winning anymore, burning money for content rather than a good strat. At least sentinel is getting better and won something. PRX just launched PRX anthem and lost miserably, money well spent
sentinels DOES want to win believe it or not, according to an interview from rob moore (sentinels' ceo) given to us by tacticalrab, the clout being brought to them is just a good plus for them. the team that only wants content for americas is 100t, which would be the better comparison imo

lol sentinels issue wasn’t that they don’t wanna win anymore. it’s that they were too scared for early aggression and wanted to try deadlock. this gave good aggressive teams like gen g so much time and space to work with. this was also the famous zellsis pep talk during master madrid, they’re playing too scared. now they’re changing that again hense the 2-0 win over gen g

It's so depressing as a prx fan. Stupid team comps again .Without Fade and Viper, still running double duelist. Skye is not even good at Lotus. WTF coach alecks, no way you still giving us this kind of team comps. Why not put something on Gekko, Davai Viper and forsaken Fade. If they lose on running like this I think at least they tried their best. But putting weird comps again I can not support for this team anymore. It's so done even the match haven't started. I really wanted them to prove me wrong but they were just bad as I thought. Please change the coach. It's so bad tbh, alecks doing nothing but only smashing the desk.

I genuinely think it’s just more of a coaching problem than a team comp issue. But it is true that it could be different.
Prx was much stronger with monyet in the team, not because monyet is a better replacement for jinggin. The main reason is that when monyet was in the team, something had the duelist role and something played more comfortably in the duelist role. And monyet was a player with a large enough agent pool and could get agents according to the map. Now jingg came to the duelist role and this is very bad for something. Because there is only gekko in something's agent pool except duelist agents. As such, on most maps, double duelist rosters are made outside the meta and double smoke or lack of vision loses the match. Besides, even if something gets gekko, he still acts like a duelist, he has repeatedly come out of smokes in chaos alone with gekko, throwing unnecessary peeks, taking areas alone .We can't get mad at him for that because he's a duelist player and he can't stop himself.But with jingg, the role of duelist does not fall to him.For this reason, as long as something does not expand the agent pool and does not master another role, non-meta-complexes will continue to be made and no yield will be obtained from something. something would be best if he left the team.Otherwise, it seems unlikely that PRX will have any success

@@veroffentlichtesvideozuete9627 eh, edg had decent agents, maybe a kj over clove but smoggy shat on them so it worked out. prx? double dualist, jett and raze are the most played agents on lotus (not gonna count reyna) while skye, cypher, and omen are the “safe” choices for their roles. fade or breach is better over skye as there’s a lot of angles to clear and kj is slightly better as her ult is round defining on C and B. this is a terrible comp for prx as taking a and c is near impossible if it’s a massive fight without another initiator

They still ran the two best initiators for this map: Breach & Fade, and then Omen and Neon. The only thing that was different is the Clove pick, but lots of teams have been running Clove on Lotus.

To all PRX fans including me, their stats looks quite steady if you organize it by year performance
2022 - 4th, 2nd, grouped
2023 - lost first round lock/in (basically I count that as grouped), 3rd, 2nd
2024 - 3rd, 5-6th, grouped
they usually get grouped once per year and I'm sure next year they'll still be decent with 1 masters/champs being grouped

PRX definitely needs role/roster changes if they really want to compete in the valorant comp scene next year. Unless they just want to be a 'celebrity team' and don't care about winning, like SEN back then.
Jingg agent pool is a really big problem. They need a duelist who can keep up with the current meta, not a one-trick Raze player.

When I finished reading the first map, I felt that prx had already won.😢
NGL this has to be an eye opener for PRX, because for some reason they lost on the map that they should be better. I already thought EDG going home after map 1, EDG playing really as a team their mentality shifted in map 2 and they just cleanup in map 3, while PRX seems lost their touch like not what they perform on stage 2. Both of teams display very good game but EDG improve so much from masters shanghai, and smoggy i can't believe he really swap role and maximize it so much.

Because they are from the same group and have already faced each other in the group stage. Hence it goes down the list and so on until they find a team that isn't from their same group

EDG have played FUT, G2 and PRX this tournament which is a very hard set of matchups
Smoggy STILL has the most kills in the tournament, the highest KD in the tournament (beating the next player by 0.14 which is ridiculous), the highest KDA in the tournament, 11th highest assists in the tournament and 6th highest ACS in the tournament.
Not to mention this has all been on controller. Everyone with a higher ACS than Smoggy has been in a duelist role, making it even more impressive.
People can keep saying Aspas is the best, but you are only arguing with the facts. Smoggy is the best player in the world
