How to remove write protection of USB Pendrive [3 Ways 2023] FIX "The disk is write protected"

list disk
select disk 2
attributes disk clear readonly
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
If the registry key StorageDevicePolicies does not exist, you will need to create it manually.
Double click the key "WriteProtect" in the right window and set the value to 0 in the Value
Data Box and pressOK button And restart your system
Restart your computer and try deleting the files from USB flash drives.

I hv a same issue, hv tried everything still my pen drive is showing write protected. This happened while formatting my pen drive (Sandisk ultra 32gb) no physical damage still it has not come out of this loop write protected.Can u suggest how to come out of this read only.

@@enghassanhefni1215 no bro, its permanent protection form usb brand like sandisk so you can't able to remove disk write protection, this is due to unstable power supply
