You will find it works even better if you use a dedicated rectifier. I did the same with low-drop shotkey diodes and they do okay but I baught a little 10-pack of full-wave bridge rectifiers and tried that and got an extra 250 millivolts using the rectifier.
Out of all the electronics projects I've done, this kind of project is up there on the "easyness" scale with the lemon battery and everyone should do it once so they understand just how much "free energy" is flying all over the place

The coil is there to get fluxed by a magnetic field, which induces a current, which flows to the capicator and were the voltage of the capacitor is used to light the LED, right?

Hello I was wondering if you used a bigger capacitor would it. Produce more power and also can you get it out the air with out using Tesla coil. And have you seen the guy who made similar set up to run a car, tv, and a helicopter with electricity from the thin air using the radio frequencies the guys from South Africa I believe they won't let them patent the invention

Yes it will produce more energy, i have used small power capacitor, i have watched his video. It looks so real. But oil companies won’t let him patent his invention.
